i think you're wrong about white being an official colour ....in fact i remember a horse that went around in sydney a few years ago called "the bride" and ian craig once said it was one of only 2 registered horses as a "white" racing in australia....

I remember "The Bride" very well!

Was a fantastic looking horse and great to watch, unfortunately retired a maiden though.
