![]() Efficient and Maybe Better are both ticking over beautifully for this race and Maybe Better gets a nice weight concession off of Efficient aswell, hard to get to hyped on much else right now however Master O'rielly and Eskimo Queen look the goods aswell I also liked the run of Princess Coup over in NZ on the weekend haven't checked out her breading but she did hit the line hard and is supposed to be here for the Caulfield Cup which should be a lead up to coming to this race.

![]() contrary to everyones thoughts i believe Master O'reilly has peaked. I know he's racing well but i dont know if he'll get the 3200m especially since the caulfield cup was his go. he definitely still one of the top chances but i think the strong run in the caulfield cup may have hurt his chances for this race.
im probably wrong but IMO Master and Zipping should be swapped in betting. |

![]() I'm worried about MO's extra 3kg weight now in what's looking like a slow track for Tues. now. I was surprised to hear of more rain in Melb. I thought it would pan out to a dead by Cup time. Doesn't look like it even with the new drainage. If it stays a jog and sprint though [who is going to sacrifice themselves to put the speed on?], MO is still a good chance but maybe a bad bet at the odds. For a slow track I'm putting Dolphin Joe on top as a e/w bet.

"SCULPTOR 5h A heavily raced horse [44 starts]. Has never won a Group race in 10 Group race attempts in NZ [he placed once in a G2 in 2005]. The fact he won a G3 on Sat. is a clear indication of how bad this season's runners have mostly been." For sure, it will hold up the next race [in any conditions]! |
