Today is the last day to pay for the chicken, ham, prawns, lobster, oysters and refreshments for next friday. Not really confident with the 1st investment being GEEJAYHAITCH 10x10 in R4 at Flemington, Tasmanian who has had 2 runs this time in and will run the distance although it is a decent jump of 700m from it's last start. Race 5 Randwick is the next and PINATAS 20x20, drawn out and will get back but will be running on.PALACIO DE CRISTAL 10x10 in R6 Randwick is facing a decent rise in class but did have a very nice win at her last attempt. THE JACKAL 10x10 in R7 Randwick will appreciate the open spaces and long run in, should be racing fit at 4th run back.Finally to Ascot R5 and LARGO LAD 10x10 is the bet and for no other reason than i don't want him to get under my guard. Has ability but whether Ascots suits, we shall find out.

WILDLY EXCITED 10x10 will kick things off for me in R7 Caulfield. Has good form around this class and could finish up a handy stayer, 3rd run back after 2 good runs and did finish less than 3 lengths behind them in the St Leger.PINATAS 20w in R7 at Randwick is getting out to something longer after finishing off strongly in recent runs and a decent barrier will allow him to be better postioned. ALVERTA 20w R7 Doomben looks one of the better bets of the day, showed good form over the carnival and should continue on its winning way.R8 Caulfield has VINEGAR HILL 10x10 starting and was scratched from Morphetville, unlucky last start and is showing good form this prep and is being ridden off the speed, will go close. R8 ASCOT has another good bet in PETE THE PROFILER 40w, what a run last start, rattled home for a long way back on the turn.Will win this.

Rosehill R7 BLACKBRIAR 10x10. Drawn well and has 1 in 2 place strike rate, 3rd run back and should be ready.
Moonee Valley R7 ALLIED FORCE 20x20. Can run well fresh and distant and track should suit.

Gold Coast R7 RED BELLY BLACK 10x10 -Good run at only start coming from last to win at Flemington. Likely type for this race.
Randwick R7 CLOTHING 20x20 - Great effort 1st up and has reasonable 2nd up form.Was trainers preference when scratched last week in which stablemate won.
Randwick R7 GOLDAM 10x10 - Carrington field too hot last start and much better suited here. Draw will suit.

GOLD COAST R4 - MR SHADOW BOXER 10x10 - 2 runs since coming from NZ have been ok.Ran on well Doomben 1030 last start and out to a distance more suitable.

FLEMINGTON R6 - MINNESOTA SHARK 10x10 - Somewhat disappointing last start but previous run was good enought to win this.

FLEMINGTON R7 - BOND STREET 10x10 - My outsider for the day. Has won over track and distance and is capable of handing in a decent run on the odd occassion.

ROSEHILL R7 - OFFHANDED 10x10 - Darley galloper. Can run well fresh and should get a nice run from the draw.

FLEMINGTON R8 - HUSSYANNA 20x20 -My value for the day. Out to an unknown distance but races as though she will handle the increase. Drawn to get a classic run behind the pace.

SANDOWN R6 - ESPRIT DE BULLET 10x10. Lightly raced with talent. Excellent run at Bendigo when he came from a long way back. Extra distance will suit.

SANDOWN R8 - BERTONIC 20x20. Ran a nice 4th 1st up and does perform well 2nd up.

ROSEHILL R8 - GERGIS 10x10. 3rd run back and should be ready to fire.Preferred distance and drawn perfectly. Should get the gun run.

RANDWICK R2 - DAYTONA BEACH 20x20.Couple of nice runs recently and out to a distance that should suit.Nicely drawn and should get a nice run and finish strongly.

CAULFIELD R6 - DANE KEEPER 10x10.Lightly raced 6yo g. Good strike rate and drawn perfectly. Finishes off strongly and should be peaking at 3rd run back.

CAULFIELD R8 - LARRY'S NEVER LATE 10x10.Lacking the dash he showed earlier on.Recent runs have been that of a plodding type and longer distances should suit.

RANDWICK R8 - HIDE 'N' DASH 10x10. 4yo mare with only 4 starts to her name and a 50% win strike rate.Ran on brilliantly Kembla 1300m, 300m further this time but is from capable stable. Looks above average.

DOOMBEN R8 - SNORKEL 10x10. This is a very open race with horses coming from all over Qld. Has weekday city form and can get home at the end of 1000m.

RANDWICK R6 - PAGAN PRINCESS 10x10. Stepping out against some classy opposition.She shows promise and has been running on in all her races.The distance suits and could surprise.

FLEMINGTON R8 -FLYING MONTY 10x10. Roughie with some sort of chance. 6 yo mare with only 11 lifetime starts. Miust have shown connections something to keep her in work. Ran on well last start Sandown. Just a hunch.

RANDWICK R8 - TOBIQUE 10x10. Excellent 1st up effort and will be right in this.

GOLD COAST R8 - MR SHADOW BOXER 20x20. Collected the bikkies for me last start over course and distance. Ran on strongly and can do it again.
