I'm with you there, Mr Ed - Dance Hero looks too good. But I would be taking Foolish at $1.4.

Everyone here seems to be banking on the Roller, but its more difficult to lead all the way at Caulfield when the rail is out six meters. I was out there on Boxing Day (also rail out 6m), and was impressed by the way Cool Trent and Porto Duoro were able to sweep down the outside. On the other hand, Roller finds lengths over this course and he will lead unchallenged - certainly the obvious on-pace runners like Mr Murphy, Not A Single Doubt, Danehill Express and Lad of the Manor won't sit up with him. I still think the weight advantage that the 3yos get puts them right in the race.

You're right about Dance Hero, flew first up, has these covered easily.

As to the 3yo's in the Orr, I have a line for you. Mr. Ed is dead right on this one. Alinghi couldn't run the Roller down, granted she had a tough run, and NONE of these three year olds would beat Alinghi over 1400m. None. No hope. She would beat them two lengths, and she couldn't beat Regal Roller. How will they?

I'll wait and see, I don't like odds on. The horse is a moral, however, morals can get beat. It's flesh and blood after all, not like RoboHorse.

Won like it should. Gee they were no good behind it. There are two other morals today, excluding Regal Roller, one of them has been mentioned - Dance hero, the other I have discovered in the Marong Cup at Bendigo. Forest Pride, on his last two starts, would walk in. There is no foreseeable reason as to why he wouldn't hold that form for one more run, and if he does they can't beat him.

Duritz.

Credit where it's due, well done Filante.

You sure did well with the $1.82 on Betfair.

Thanks mate. He's a pretty good colt. I think he wouldn't be embarrassed if they took him to Sydney for a 1400m to 1600m handicap.

No excuses there for anything the winner sat 3 wide and 2nd place was tracking it 3 wide I must say it panned out how I thought it could was a nice run from Lad of the Manor but he did have every chance.
