Good on ya mav. Looking for good weather tomorrow at Ipswich. It was 'slow' last week not 'dead' [according to the jocks] and closer to heavy by the later races. It's tough enough on punters without that rubbish going on [club worried about scratchings affecting the meeting].
Only 1 for me today: Wang. R6/4 Hillston Exchange [if it doesn't win you can have the other half of your house back]:-)) |

Hi all, got a few bookers tommorow all rising from midweek class but have put in top efforts recently.
Emooki Street in the stayers race gets a lovely weight drop here and i think the field isn't overly strong (Taman Trader had every favour last start). Emooki has won at the track and distance last start when showed a terrific sprint at the end of his race, i think he's a lovely bet. Roadhog, was just very unlucky first up at Bendigo when clutted up on the inside, bit of an enigma but he has a touch of class and meets a relatively weak field tommorow. Platinum Place, last two at this course have been terrific, Note two starts back was beaten a head Centashani and beat home Gracious Curves easily looks top form now. She always puts in a big run and looks a good e/w chance tommorow. Tend to agree with Mav about Clang Edition, should have beaten Tsolias last start and now meets him on better weight and barrier terms, so if the odds are alright i'll be on him. Electic at Belmont is very smart, and may be some decent odds as Let go Thommo is taking all b4 him, electic is drawn to get a terrific run either leading or just off them and any rain at all would make him a certainty. Have to mention my favorite girl running in Adelaide in Miss Starnee, on face value her last start was dissapointing but the extra distance now is strongly in her favour and she very rarely runs a bad race. Worth an interest e/w. Hopefully get a winner or two here, my biggest go will be on Emooki Street, i really liked his last win. |

Hi Mav and Mr .Ed. I agree Glang Edition is a good chance in the last in a tricky race. Seems to have been up forever though hasn't he[?]. I'm going the toppy here Rapid Reason (NZ) who scored nicely at Doomben last start and this distance will suit even better. A good exacta and tri race.
I like Parameter and King of Soul in the 1st. Parameter has the edge on speed but will have to hunt for the lead from barrier 8 and Nikolic is on King of soul who has drawn perfectly. King of Soul for me and might be a good exacta or tri race too. Throw in Celtic Trial. A Little Naughty for R2 is back on a good track and back from doing no good against Starlactic in listed company. Should prove better than this lot with 2 goes at the distance for 2 wins. Flying Alpha in R5 is a big improver for slick trainer O'shea. Shysu for the Eye Liner stakes. Douro Valley or Sphenophyta for the Cup. Enterprise man in R6 at Sandown is well suited and Irish Darling [at good odds] in R7 might be the finish of the fav. Dirty Denims run of 1sts. The wet track should see home Leroy the man in the last. Have a good one. Last edited by crash : 17th June 2006 at 04:08 AM. |

Frustrating day yesterday, nice win with Roadhog but much shorter odds then i expected. Then a few placings that would've made a big day of it if one got up, Platinum Place cost me sheeploads in the running double. Oh well always tommorow i suppose.

Narreanandaeandanana Frisky Frisco,,,,been a real good horse for me,,,suited back to this distance and from the inside,,,will be very hard to catch... Good Luck all... and go the Aussies tonight ...will be a long night ..hope its worth it after falling asleep last game and missing all the action.. |

WE LOST ....but only 0-2 which is very respectable. Still in the world championships though due to our 3 goal win over Japan.
Bypassed yesterday and had a day off after a very good Sat. Looks like Sat. was a good day for a few here. 4 for today but not sure about the widish barrier [on-pacer] for the last selection here, although breeding suggests it should handle the distance step-up nicely.
