No luck for me either today
A few for tomorrow Randwick Crique,,in good form ,,not suited on the rain affected tracks..' Blumarju, Don Luigi Townsville Water Buffalo. Captain Whelands biggest test to date..can he do it from that barrier ?? will they try and take a sit on him ?? theres alot of speed inside him and it could be suicide to try and lead..interesting race.. even i'm to chicken to take him on but will have some fun with a few multis.. My Salladin and Enzeel both interest me ...go the field for 3rd and 4th as theres a stack of runners that can jag places in this.. |

Sunrise Song looks a top value chance in the last @ Warnambool tommorow.
Last start was just terribly unlucky at Werribee, where they absolutely walked in front on a dynamite leaders track and he was jagged back to last from a wide gate. He had some trouble getting clear in the short straight but once out really lengthened nicely, it was a top run. His form this prep has been solid, fourth up now and stepping to his right distance (2000m, winner course and distance by 3.3lengths) with a lot more speed on in the big field, he should be at his top. Bit of give nice but can handle any surface. He is dropping from a c4 to a c3 tommorow, (however, 0 horses in the Werribee race were actually fully qualified for the C4), But Shamir(1st) in that race and Jock o' the side (4th) both ran well in a C6 today so the form looks alright. Main dangers look to be Montamigo (solid winner last start, but drawn awkwardly, and Stylish Tempo (Good run in very good showcase race last start), Also Theatrical Dance who's form is just but he grows a leg here. A place chance on a wet track at odds also to the jumper Al Garhood, he's racing well in weaker flat races. Anyway the race looks top shelf for Sunrise Song, and his odds should be alright, will also play multiples with the others. Cheers ED |
