![]() IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ.....
RULES FOR THE FINALS 1. For the finals, there are just two bet sizes you can use..... $20 Win and $10 Each Way 2. The draw for the finals matchups are organised like AFL or NRL finals. And just like those comps, in all finals matches leading up to the Grand Final, the higher ranked tipster will get the "home ground advantage" of having an extra $20 to bet with and therefore one extra tip. So, in this week's finals, the person listed first in each matchup gets 6 tips and the person listed 2nd, gets 5. 3. The person tipping second in each matchup can't pick any more than one of the horses chosen by the person who tipped first. So when posting, make sure you check out if your opponent has already tipped and if they have, you can pick no more than one of the horses they tipped. ![]() what is the advantage of 6 tips ?
does this work on POT % as previously or $ profit ? |

![]() It is just total money returned. You get $120 to bet with compared to your opponent's $100. Whoever returns the most money wins.
% only comes into it in the unlikely event of a tie. In that case, and also if both tipsters fail to win a single cent, then the one who had less tips goes through. Last edited by Sportz : 1st November 2013 at 03:36 PM. |

![]() Well, you can I suppose, but why would you want to do that?
You'd be just giving up $20 head start for nothing. It's not a HUGE advantage, but it is an advantage. And you earned it by finishing on top of the ladder. Don't waste it. It's decided on the total amount you get back. Picking 6 horses surely gives you an advantage over someone who can only pick 5. Last edited by Sportz : 1st November 2013 at 05:17 PM. |

![]() If your thinking is that you can pick 5 horses and I will convert your total from a score out of 100 into a score out of 120, well no it doesn't work that way. You have to post 6 tips to get a score out of 120.
