Just 4 tipping days to go in this comp; the 4 days of the AJC carnival - Easter Saturday, Easter Monday, then Wednesday and the following Saturday.

4 more days ... That will be a maximum of 12 races .... hmmm .....I think I have a good chance of winning this comp.

Probably more like 8 or 9 races I think.

Obviously some of us here read Phil Purser [just racing] the day before the Slipper and took on-board what he said and some of us didn't......
Wish I had as the 'brake' backed the winner and swears blind she never read the article [lier !!].

'Only 2 good horses will emerge from the slipper'

and...........They are basically a very average group of horses that will go nowhere in life. It will be remembered as the worst batch of 2YO’s Australia wide since Catbird won in 1999.

and..........There are two potential top class racehorses in this Slipper field tomorrow – just the two. Both are fillies and both will become good gallopers in life and win black type races. They are $9 and $12 chances respectively (NSW TAB] at 4pm today.

and.............Anyway back to the Slipper and I consider the only two winning hopes in the race are Miss Finland ($9) and Maiden galloper Boom Time Savings ($12). I like 2YO horses to have started – and performed at Rosehill - before backing them there. Both have started there and both have performed well there. You need a horse that is strong at the business end of 1200 – and both the named fillies can really reel off a sectional and scream home.
