Default Saturday 6/2/10

Best afternoon for awhile.3 winners from 4 and 1 scratching,Ollie Vollie 20/2.70,Pagan Princess 10/7.10-2.20, Flying Monty 10/14.20-4.30 and Mr Shadow Boxer 20x20 the scratching.Outlay 120.00, return 372.00, profit 252.00. Overall profit 207.00.

ROSEHILL R2 - KINGFISHER 10x10. Unraced and wellbred. Being drawn out will not hurt on a heavy 9. 1st start.

GOLD COAST R4 - MR SHADOW BOXER 20x20. Late scratching this venue last week. Will be running on.

DOOMBEN R8 - HUCKLEBERRY DANE 10x10. Maiden and is probably 50-100 metres short of optimum distance. Has been running on strongly in all 3 starts since resuming. With luck in running could run over the top of them.

CAULFIELD R8 - CLOTHING 10x10. Hoping that the track improves during the day as she does prefer a solid surface. Will be finishing on.

CAULFIELd R9 - DELAYED REACTION 10x10.Win record should be better than it is.Distance suits and is drawn nicely and has jock that will suit.

Best of luck to all.

Lost a little last week but no real damage done. Mr Shadow Boxer 20/2.70-1.40 and Huckleberry Dane 10/2.30.Outlay 120.00, return 105.00, loss 15.00 and overall profit 190.00.

Some great racing around the country today.

Moonee Valley R3 ABSOLUTE FAITH 10x10. Could win better races. Ideally drawn and runs on.

Moonee Valley R6 OFFHANDED 10x10. Battles on and shows the Lonhro grit.Talented and suited in this. Handles all going.

Moonee Valley R9 KAAVERT 10x10. My outsider for today.Has been thereabout in his last 6 runs. Drawn well enough to take up good position and could finish off strongly.

EAGLE FARM R7 OLLIE VOLLIE 20x20. In great form and drawn perfectly again. With the gun run should sprint pass them in the closing stages.

RANDWICK R8 AT THE CREASE 10x10. New barn.Has been in my "promising talent stable" since the middle of last year. Has a 1st up win to its credit and can handle slow to good. Distance a shade short but the track conditions could help in the run home.

Enjoy a great days racing wherever you may be

A nice afternoon's work. Absolute Faith 10/1.50, Offhanded 10/1.50, Ollie Vollie 20/1.40 and Kaavert 20/20.80-4.90. Outlay 120.00, return 315.00, profit 195.00. Overall profit 385.00.

ROSEHILL R2 KINGFISHER 10x10.Nice performance at debut. Ran on strongly and will have been improved. Great chance.

MORPHETVILLE R4 LAPEL 20x20. Very consisent and will be in the thick of things. Optimum distance.

CAULFIELD R7 SHE'S GOT GEARS 10x10.Drawn well and should race handier than she has been in recent runs. The surprise packet.

DOOMBEN R6 CHAKVETADZE 10x10.Racing very consistently of late and to be ridden by the jock of the moment. Should get the gun run and out sprint them.

CAULFIELD R9 CLOTHING 10x10.Needs everything to go right from this draw. Good track and patient ride are essentials.

Good luck to all.

Result 20/2/10
Not a great day on the punt yielding 1 winner and 1 placing. Chakvetadze 10/2.70-1.50 and Lapel 20/1.9. Outlay 120.00, return 80.00, loss 40.00. Overall profit 345.00.

ROSEHILL R5 MAFIA MISS 10x10. Talented young miss. Drawn to get a nice run and I think the good track will suit. If they run along early she could be the one finishing over the top.

EAGLE FARM R5 FRETON 10x10.My roughie for the day.Runs on his races and has performed ok on rain affected tracks.

CAULFIELD R8 ABSOLUTE FAITH 10x10.Drawn well and has run good races behind some quality horses in her brief career thus far. Looks as though she will be suited by the distance.

ROSEHILL R8 AT THE CREASE 20x20. Well suited. Will get back and will run on. Distance and wicket will suit. My best for the day.

EAGLE FARM R8 GURU 10x10. Sydney sider transfered to a Brisbane barn with same owners.Capable of surprising this lot and can handle dead tracks. Will run this distance out strongly.

Good luck to all.

Default SDaturday 6/3/10

Disappointing day but for a stride or two I thought it was going to be a ripper but alas it was not to be. Outlay 120.00, return 95.00, loss 25.00 and overall profit stand at 320.00

Flemington R5 GIGAS 10x10.It has been a long while since I've slung one of Gai's but I am really keen on this one. Right distance, beautifully drawn to get the box seat. Recent runs have been impressive and may take some running down in the last 100.

Morphetville R6 SILENT MARCH 40w.Only had 4 starts and could prove to be a good horse. Ridden without much judgement last start and has a change of hoop. My best for the day.

Warwick Farm R7 NEROLI 10x10. First up. has good 1st up form and has had 2 starts for 2 wins on the heavy.

Flemington R8 LITTORIO 10x10. Nice effort at 2 runs back after long layoff
and 2000 could suit at this stage of his preparation. Right track for him.

Flemington R9 FLYING RUBY 10x10. Conditions will suit. Last 2 runs have indicated that she could be ready to produce the form of 18 months ago and if she does...whammo.

Best of luck to all having a go.

Default Saturday 13/3/10

Saturday the 6/3/10, what an experience.

The abandonment of Flemington saved me from a total washout but not a drenching. Money back on 2 horses left me with a loss of 80.00 but still with an overall profit of 240.00. The bank has a balance of 1440.00.

Randwick Race 5 MAFIA MISS 10x10. Will improve on last couple of runs and drawn nicely.

Flemington Race 5 FLYING RUBY 10x10. Last couple of runs have indicated she is coming back into form. Will be finishing on strongly.

Doomben R6 BUZZY HENRY 10x10.Could surprise in this field. Due to produce a winning effort. Had excuses last start.

Flemington R8 LITTORIO 20x20. Has returned from a spell in fine fettle. 2 runs back have been impressive and an extra weeks work will have benefited him.

Randwick R8 BEAUCOUP 10x10. Can run a competent race 1st up and distance is suitable.

Default Saturday 20/3/10

A scratching and a placing were the results from last week.
Buzzy Henry scr 10.00 and Flying Ruby 10/6.10.
Outlay 120.00- Return 81.00 - Loss 39.00 - Profit 201.00 - Bank 1401.00.

A short betting list today.

Caulfield R3 COMMONAGE CLOSE 10x10. Drawn well and having 2nd run for new trainer. Having 3rd run back after Derby prep yielded no rewards.
Blinkers and a claim could do the trick.

Eagle Farm R4 BUZZY HENRY 20x20. Scratched last week when drawn wide. Better served from 4 and should get the run of the race. Will go close.

Rosehill R7 PALACIO DE CRISTAL 20x20. Possibly 1 run short after being withdrawn 2 weeks ago due to track condition but is a classy conveyance.

Caulfield R8 SYMPHONY MISS 10x10. From smart Adelaide stable. 2nd run back and drawn perfectly. Distance suits.

Best of luck

Default 27/3/10

Another losing week with 1 placing Palacio De Cristal 20/2.50.
Outlay 120.00 - Return 50.00 - Loss 70.00 - O/all Profit 131.00 - Bank 1331.00.

Doomben R3 FREE TO ROAM 10x10. Lightly raced. Finished off strongly last start and can repeat the dose here.

Morphetville R4 LEGISLATURE 10x10. Improving each race and suited here.

Rosehill R5 MAFIA MISS 10x10. Last chance. Hopefully the blinkers will improve her. A chance if she can reproduce her 1st start effort.

Caulfield R6 TENZING 20x20. An improving young stayer with heaps of potential. Should beat these.

Rosehill R9 BEAUCOUP 10x10. Nice effort 1st up and will be improved and can match it with this lot.

Default Saturday 10/4 AJC Derby Day

Heading for a 6th consecutive losing week. Hoping that my punting guide guides me to a win today and stop the rot.

A loss a fortnight ago with only a placing, Legislature 10/3.40.
Outlay 120.00 - Return 34.00 - Loss 86.00 - O/all profit 45.00 - Bank 1245.00.

Randwick R6 MAFIA MISS 10x10. Sticking with her, ran on very nicely in the Magic Night and the longer distance will be right up her alley.

Randwick R7 ROCK CLASSIC 10x10. I reckon the Man can pull off another G1. This one has enough kilometres in his legs, drawn well and top jock.

Randwick R8 HARRIS TWEED 20x20. My Cup tip and can pick up 90gs for the connections on the way through.Very good run in the BMW and will be there at the finish.

Randwick R9 DEVOIRS 10x10.Ran on well and handed in a very nice run at Kembla over 1600. Ready for the 2000.

Ascot R5 WIZARDS POINT 10x10. Ran a much improved race last start. My longshot for the day.

BOL to all.

Default Saturday 17/4/10

6 losing weeks on the trot as a result of last weeks effort.
one placing Harris Tweed 20x2.00.

Outlay $120.00 - Return $40.00 - Loss $80.00 - Bank 1165.00 - O/all Loss 35.00.

Change of tactics - 3 bets only.

Caulfield R7 NICASTRO 20x20 - Racing very well and without luck in some races. 3rd start back and drawn suitably.

Randwick R6 PALACIO DE CRISTAL 20x20 - Set for this. Begg has her spot on and the extra distance will suit. Barrier 3 is of slight concern.

Caulfield R8 KEL'S GOLD 20x20. I am tipping a double from the young Bool trainer Jarrod McClean. Lightly raced and very promising. Lining up for 3 straight
