Falkirk looks pretty good, I think we'll do much better than the $5.00 offered come race time, with True Glo et al probably dominating the market.

Don't like Thorn Park, never have!

Probably the hardest of the Group 1 races we will see all year some good horses here out of form or with serious question marks who could easily jump out of the ground and pinch this with the likes of Gordo, Scaredee Cat, Recurring(distance).

There isn't enough room in this forum for me to talk about the horses I give a chance in this race so I'll try and narrow it down.

King's Chapel has to be included got a decent draw and the Jockey of the moment on board will be tough to hold out.

Our Egyptian Raine This horse always finds a way to lose somehow someway without fail almostnot a favourite of mine for some reason and I will be taking it on tomorrow for sure will most likely be in the placings though.

Face Value, Scaredee Cat Like both of these and feel they both fall into the same category of underachieving horses for whatever reasons either one or both could so easily take this race.

Recurring The 1400 will test her right out but I like the horse and have a very high opinion of Michael Walker to boot great draw maybe he can put her to sleep and let fly late who knows.

Royal Mask Hope it gets a start will be very very hard to hold out if that is that case 47kgs is ridiculos for any horse to be carrying at this level and its lead up form has been top notch.

I really like Royal Mask but it is going to be hell bent getting a start other than that I would go with E/W value in Scaredee Cat, Face Value and maybe Recurring very hard race.

I have looked at the race some more and have got to give a horse I don't think is all that great a chance of winning this and that is Gordo. I have never been a fan of the horse but his form looks alright this prep lets face it he was never going to run out the mile in the Doncaster but he can certainly run a decent 1400.

So right now I am looking at Royal Mask, Gordo, Scaredee Cat and Recurring.

What do ya reckon if this race was run over and over and over again for a week youd get a different winner each time????

Just think Thorn Park, as much as I don't like him either Chrome, should be suited by the extra 50 metres this time, and nab them on the line. Could have got 10/1 yesterday afternoon, but got greedy and missed it. Well weighted, and Group 1 proven, should give his followers a huge sight in his last hoorah! For the dangers, I'm calling on the great "Hey Chee" to fire up the crystal ball so we can all "Win, Win, Win"... He he...
