I've not written off Black Tom. The cup is his target and he will be all the better for todays run as you would expect.

It seem Master Minx got trapped a bit wide and could never get into the race. Black Tom would of benefited with that run. I look for an improve effort next start.

Normally don't tip in maidens but (8) WHINNEN in the 4th today does look the likely winner. 3 starts to-date, placed in all, and not beaten far. Only worry perhaps, the wide barrier.
