Wide barrier made no difference rsvp! Good win by Whinnen. Trifecta a nice one - $775.80 considering Whinnen was the hot fav.

Lightbulb AHA CUP

Elsie The Eagle the one to beat but expect will be short.
Main danger Professional Lady but slight doubt in my mind running a strong 2000.
Ser Grill last run below par but does meet Professional Lady 2kg better last they met when he went down narrowly to that horse.
Waiting for the topweight to show a return to form which would make him a solid ew chance in this.
Swift Jeune's last run behind Danny Blue full of merit and is trained at Bunbury.

Should be a good race!

Red face

I hope Borrasca can sneak a place....I have $2 on it (for a place) after I made a mistake on my ticket....the $2 was suppose to go on Ser Grill.

Well done Robbo, you do seem to be on top of your game when it comes to picking roughies.

Well done!

The fastest heat winner of the day was the handy country class mare Twin City Girl. She normally races well fresh so watch for her return.

Of the other heats unraced 2YO filly Sprintess and the unraced Fimiston stallion Reign Of Fire were both impressive.

Twin City Girl resumes in the lucky last (R10) at Bunbury shortly. Up against some pretty handy types but has her admirers - currently showing $12.90 / $3.20.

Thumbs up Desiarnez

And hasn't Desiarnez been impressive since winning his trial at Lark Hill same day as Twin City Girl. 2 starts, 2 wins, tacking his tally to 3 from 3!
