Gday Sportz

It is a fair sort of gap.... If you want to make the top rater 100, just convert em.. attached is a file with the converted ratings and a price

I use the compressed numbers because they are easier for me to handle, and it takes way less work..

And don't forget, I reckon Triple Dee's right in this with a chance for a stable quinella, perhaps even a reverse exacta.

Often the most obvious chances are disappointing, and something comes out of the melting pot to surprise, so Sportz, you could do worse than your pick.

If you rate it, you'd be crazy to pass up the $81.00.

Racing is full of surprises - just ask my bank manager

Yeah, that's all right. No worries.

A very good run by Malcolm, but he threw his chance to win away by not being closer.
All honours to the winner, but you just can't give good horses a start and hope to run them down in this class field. As stated before, he needed to be midfield coming into the straight.

The only horses that can run them down, are the horses that are miles superior. Malcolm is very very good, but he's not miles superior to this field.

Sorry about Havana Wind , but I guess he gave a pretty good sight for a while considering his price. Anyway, I had the first 2 rated on top so I went okay. Aqua D'Amore was nice value!

How did everyone else go?

I've been waiting for Havana Wind to start for some time. He's been training the place down at Randwick for a while now. Now, he's never done anything at all first up before, BUT that was over 1200m, not the more suitable 1600m. This is certainly a HUGE task, but he's also going to be HUGE odds, so who knows? He's certainly got the right trainer to do well over the Randwick mile. He might be able to sneak a place or something. If not, I still suspect there could be a good result around the corner for him in the next month or so.

Okay, not huge odds today (big difference from the Villiers), but I hope a few of you followed up. I certainly did. I was sure there was a win coming up for him.
