gotcha La Mer
R1/5 Cross Bar R7/4 Patezza Cross Bar is a legitimate chance, i just have Cincinatti Gal on top; so its just under the odds in my book. Patezza is likely to be < 2/1 i'm guessing. One of those chronical backmarkers who always needs luck. No speed in that race either. |

Ladder after Round 1 in the Lays Of The Day Contest:
Mr Selby $79.50 Chuck $68.00 Heavyweight $42.00 Racer $35.00 TESTAROSSA $27.00 Quick Fun Bet $14.50 Brave Chief -$18.00 Mark -$20.00 La Mer -$50.50 Duritz -$63.50 Well done to those that managed to find a few successful 'lays' but as can be seen some of us (myself included) picked some horses that won - in fact in race 3, I managed the Quinella which paid $124 in my three picks - a real good effort on my behalf - I think not. Don't be deterred La Mer, it's harder to pick losers than everybody thinks. Having said that, there are some really good scores there.
Unfortunately for me, my 3 "real" lays for the day were not at Rosehill. |
