When punters look at the stats from the J.C.Roberts Stakes from Ascot last Sat. they'll see only 2.25 len covered the first 7 runners, indicating that a bunched finish involved some luck/lack of. By Scenic (sired Derby winners Blevic and Universal Prince) from Sweepshot who's daddy was Dr.Grace, Derby,BMW winner etc etc. He therefore should extend his brilliance over the classic distance.

Thought Scenic Shot could have won by a good 3 lens had the pontiff been serious at the end. Perhaps not pushed out due to that injury scare a week or so back.
