Done my form and think she a chance of a place but not really confident she can beat the likes of BEAUTIFUL GEM, CRIMSON REIGN and UNABATED!

Should have been more confident after all Ellli has such a brilliant record at the distance

Well done to all those who picked Elli on top!

In race 2 former Victorian Iron Duke will front up for his 2nd start in WA. First-up placed over 1200 this track. Will be fitter and better suited over the 1400.

Former South Aussie Argent Lane (race 6) will also front up for his 2nd start in WA. Strong win this course over 1200 first-up. The additional 100M today will suit.

Armagirl ran a nice race for 4th. What A Drama who looked the better chance on paper failed to flatter at all.

Iron Duke who started a warm fav, finished 5th but well beaten. Perhaps not suited second-up, would follow.

Argent Lane didn't get into the race, perhaps now looking for further.

Race 5 D'Yquem another ex Victorian who has now had 3 starts in the west most recent running 2nd C1 this track over 1600. Up in class (C3) today but also up in distance which should suit. With the services of the lovely Alana could surprise.

Hopefully some of you who read the 'Ventured West' posts may have remembered Pigsley's Grief. Sorry I missed including yesterday, was in a bit of a rush. All five starts in WA have been OK, his last run over 1600 was a solid effort. Obviously takes a while to peak. Anyway as most would know, he won the Walkaway Cup yesterday at odds 25/1+. Hope you had a little EW.
