Race 7 #2 Millenium Eagle

Ipswich
Race 6 #1 Doctor Hennessy
Very consistent horse who has run well in townand has a nice barrier, loves thr track and distance and should be nice value

Race 7 #11 Little Beautiful
Ran 2nd last start from a spell, another to have run in town and although drawn wide

Race 8 # 2 Marnier
Won last start, even though found a heap of trouble, would have streeted them, which is just as well, as it may bolster his price... here's hoping

Taree
Race 8 #7 Lucky Handout
Has hit form after close second and gutsy win last start, up in class nicely drawn and won this distance - hope we haven't missed the boat

Queanbeyan
Race 7 #5 Go Magpie (Carn the pies!)
Other than the name, this guy won last start after two promising efforts and last start was easy win... hopefully e/way odds

Good Luck....

Did you mean me? I had Johnny Be Good to beat Vic By The Jug. I don't take Exactas though. Perhaps I should think about it.

Gday Ed,
In my opinion regal roller will get to 3s, theres quite a few others I think they will come for here. I totally agree and am a huge roller fan that he is the one to beat but 2.60 is too short for me. I also agree that our smokin joe is a big danger and is sure to run a race but I also raise a little concern towards lad of the manor. He has won twice first up from three attempts and from all accounts is fit and ready. I will also be including fields of omagh at big odds, looks fitter and better than ever and wouldnt be too suprised to see him around the mark. Great race and cant wait to see the outcome. I for one believe there will be 3s for the roller but who knows??????

Thumbs up

Yeh he won easy Mav, he never challenged Vic for the lead and it definately helped both of their causes, was just a matter of if he pulled or not and he raced well and was never in doubt, heard they bet $3 on track, huge odds.

I am going to have a large wager on the Roller whatever price he gets to, especially on the heavy track, he's a star. Also might have a little running double Rc 5 no 12 into Rc6 no 4, 2 absolute stars of the track.

Will wait for Sunday i think that Tasman Trader is a certainty and will post why tommorow.

Started looking over the Caulfield card for Sat. (Our Fri. night) and it really does look like a very exciting day. I will definitely be playing the Aussies tonight after I took home to HUGE exacta savers at Saratoga yesterday. A Dynaformer who had just broken his maiden on turf coupled with a South African import (Jacarandi Jane) from Team VAlor Stables came back @$350 for $2 (odds of 10-and 9-1). My main play ran out but who cares. In the race before that, I played the front end speed on the turf (as it is holding on the inner turf-a RARE occurence) and got Ramon Dominguez to will a $9.00 horse home through the stretch being chase by no less than 6 closers. Luckily the Santos ridden 10 got up for 2nd at 30-1 and created a $430 exacta! I had both of these but gave a substantial bit back. Still came out way on top for the day so I have a bankroll for the weekend. Saratoga and Caulfield here I come! I hate to ramble about American racing here guys but I figure it may give you an edge come Breeder's Cup or Dubai Cup. Remember Ramon Dominguez. He is a young rider who has all the skills of the best and I mean Jerry Bailey, Gary Stevens, Chris McCarron, Franki Dettori, Kieran Fallon, best but still gets a nice price due to his stature as a small track(Delaware Park- my home track) rider. All the trainers and all the other riders know who he is. He won the Breeder's Cup Turf on Better Talk Now last year and gets all of Graham Motion's mounts. He always gives it his all so remember you heard it hear first when he becomes THE American jockey in a couple of years. He'll be switching his tack to New York sometime soon.

Is it raining cats and dogs at Caulfield and/or Randwick today? I hear the talk about the heavy going and the weather site I got on had all these severe weather warnings posted. ANy info on how these tracks play towards closers or speed and on heavy going? Looking at the form for Randwick it looks like closers have the edge to me. I looked at the Randwick 1A and I might take a flyer on Agua Corriendo as he might like the extra furlong if he can take to the heavy and use Jon Ron, Hassle(fav?), and High Cee(could get the whole thing at a nice price with Boss aboard). Do you think Boss had the choice between Sir Craiglee and High Cee in this race? In the US this happens alot and reflects the horses readiness and since High Cee looked pretty good in his return since April, he could be sitting on a big one. Just one Yankee's opinion.

If Avenger is lirking sometime today, Dominguez rides a Scott Lake (Del Park trainer- this is the combo that took the 6th yesterday) claimer in the 3rd at Saratoga Friday. VROOM HILDA (#5) ran two good seconds after a layoff from May. She was scratched from same type race earlier this week as Lake already had a runner in there. Dominguez has been riding like wildfire but getting so unlucky to not have about ten more wins. He keeps getting beat a nose(no discredit to him- he's usually the one flying through the lane) like in the Saratoga feature yesterday. This one may have been his fault as the winner came from the clouds and Ramon probably thought he had it. The first mistake I've seen him make all meet. Use #4 MAIN STREAM and #2 CHUNK OF LOVE with this Ontario bred. Unless it is an off-track (really off as they have had NO rain at this meet) then turn your attention to BEHRNIK #6 who loves it off (7-2-2-3). Tough call on Vroom Hilda's off track class. Good Luck if you play. Also, meet's leading trainer Todd Pletcher who has been mired in a huge slump the last two weeks looks like the winner in the featured 8th race on the turf. Grade 2 mile and an 1/8 should be perfect trip from rail for READY"S GAL #1 (More Than Ready). Use with #6 Victory Lap(scares me for some reason) and #4 Naissance Royal( first start iin NA for Clement and this G1 and G3 placed filly in France(Giant's Causeway-Net Worth- a Forty Niner dam).

Randwick will be a good track, Caulfield Slow to Heavy.

Boss may have had the choice of rides but it may not have had much to do with prospects for this race. High Cee is a cups type horse which will be runnng in bigger races in the spring. I doubt Sir Craiglee will, so Boss may have wanted to stick with High Cee looking to the future.

High Cee may run in higher class races but he sure doesn't do anything in 'em. It looks like he fits right in with this group and if he runs to his potential and class, on paper he looks like a value if anywhere near his morning line in my program of 12-1. He doesn't look to like Randwick, though those races were against much better. If they do have bigger things in store for your spring campaign, I hope he'll be all out. I hope The Avenger got down on VROOM HILDA as she won paying $4.40 to win while my 2nd and 3rd picks came right in that order for a $27 exacta and a $130? Trifecta. Of course I didn't get down on him as my boss had me tied up at work (the nerve of him). Oh well I'll try to get down on READY's GAL in the 8th or save my bankroll for OZ.

Of course my second horse ran up the track at Saratoga behind the classy French filly Naisance Royale(IRE) and Victory Lap (third). I wonder if this filly is here for the Breeder's Cup filly and mare turf? A Giant's Causeway paying $11.40? Sacre Bleu!! And some jock named Dominguez won the 7th (and 3rd) aboard a $15 winner sired by Royal Academy. Leave him out come Breeder's Cup day at your own discretion (or any big day for that matter). I feel sorry for the rest of the jockeys in US when he starts to ride all the favorites like Bailey, Prado, and Velazquez. By the way, Kitten's Joy is headed to the Arc if all goes well. He better stay there and leave the Breeder's Cup to the Europeans as our turf horses are down this year. ALINGHI is working gangbusters at Saratoga in preparation for her American debut on the dirt. She seems to have taken to the dirt seeing as their is a rumour that she was running around the backside when she got away from Bobby Frankel's people. They deny it. Surprise! Rinky Dink(AUS) is in the 7th at Del Mar tonight (friday 10:00 EDT) Right after the first at Randwick. OY OY
