Both Impressive Stats and Dead Eye Dick are weighted to give Great Nation a run for his money. Should be a great finish!

The main open class trial was taken out by Silver Seam ridden by the pontiff. Beauzilla ran a close 2nd. Silver Seam played up badly at the barrier last race start and the trainer was advised to take steps to rectify the mare's barriers manners, hence the barrier trial on Monday.

Vodka Lime listed to line-up in race 2 tomorrow Belmont.
Blinkers off, ers on.

Default Trials for Lark Hill, Monday 21/8/2006 - Track: Slow

Track was slow so not sure how the form will line up later.
Equal fastest heats run by Beat The Storm (heat 4) and Luskin Dancer (heat 6).
Luskin Dancer yet to face the starter on race day has had 1/2 dozen trials to-date, this being her best result.
Beat The Storm last raced Nov 05 where he finished 4th in a 1400M event at Ascot behind the likes of Scenic Shot, Hi On Love and Cape North. Only 2 starts prior was unplaced Belmont and runner-up mdn at Bunbury.

Great Nation has been scratched!

Trainer Vernon Brockman has reported that Great Nation has sustained a stone bruise and has been ruled out of Saturdays race.

I like the chances of both former sandgropers Miss Andretti & Bomber Bill!
