A very good field with a several resuming from spells and letups.

What bad luck! Young Jarrad out for 4-5 weeks with a broken wrist. Just warming up too.

I think he will improve heaps today, jake. A little concerned the barrier, if he can get a good run should be in the finish.

The in-form Shane Scriven booked for Marasco in Saturday's Doomben 10,000.

Looks a good move schonegg. Another shot at the Cox Plate is apparently on Marasco's radar, if all goes well in Brissie.

If they run on Sat, gonna be a very wet track. If so, do you reckon Fred will start him, schonegg?

Hat, Fred's probably seething at the moment. Was in two minds to take him north(or spell for Melbourne) so what does he do now? Looks like he'll run on Saturday($34 with IAS!) and if doesn't fire you'd bet Fred will take him back home

Yeah, you’re probably right schonegg. And to add insult to wounds, he has drawn an inside barrier. Not normally the best place to be on a wet track.
