Default Scenic Blast Sunday

Comments from Morton after todays trackwork:

- jogged 1 lap, cantered 1 lap (turf course)
(exercised from 6:52 to 7:09 on turf, ridden by Daniel Morton)
"After some hard work yesterday, his condition is very good. He just went slow this morning and he felt very nice. He's eating well.
I was always expecting it to be a fast track here, but a little bit of this rain will help us.
I don't know much about your horses here, but he's in good order so I expect him to run very well. The draw (No. 7) is great, since it'll be easy for him to move to his ideal mid-field position.
I intend to just walk him around the stables and take him to the paddock tomorrow morning."

Default Belmont Saturday

We've got the return of an exciting sprinter in Dante's Volonte in the Birthday Stakes. In the run it may lead or take the trail behind Vain Raider. If either are off their game or have a duel then an Oroya Gold/Tarzi would capitalize. But it's a watch only race for me.

For a bet I think we should see a better Bridgestone in R4. Running over a trip that he won well last prep. and fitter, should go close. Zidansky looks a threat. There are a couple of other hopes so the price might be ok for the toppie.

Hey Rogan, not in that field tomorrow. Trainer seems upbeat about its chances though so may have really come on from its first up run.

Gee, very short on fixed odds. Have to muck around with the multis.

vain raider missed the kick by 2L - his sectionals would have been gi normus - goes into BB
