Not me Paddy, best I could do was 3rd.
Didn’t outlay much as it was a race that I couldn’t rate all starters (including 1st and 2nd) – no town form. Interestingly both 1st and 2nd are ex eastern state performers. The winner has only recently stepped up to distance racing and on retrospect has not had his share of luck in those events. Nice ride by Alana. According to a mate of mine who was up at Geraldton for the weekend - very successful meeting, great crowd and Rogan Josh (who lead the cup field out) is in fine fettle, given he has been in retirement for a while. _________________ All the best from the West Sandgroper  [ This Message was edited by: Sandgroper on 2004-01-19 13:35 ] |

Re David McLean, Wexford. Heavy-weight jock who has done most of his recent riding in the north of our state – including Broome. Apart from that, can’t add much else.

You're not the only one topsy99, can't help myself either, one day I'll throw the habit.
In the meantime, let's pile it on, on Saturday - the aussie day cup at Ascot. |

Note that John Egan rode at Ascot, Bunbury and Albany over the long weekend. Managed a couple of placings, hopefully his first winner is not too far off. Riding at 52.5kg.

In this morning's press reported that Chenille Prince is not off for a spell, as originally planned. Racing at Ascot in a couple weeks over 1400m on the road to the WATC Derby (2400m) on April 12. Good luck to connections!
