A couple of horses who finished behind Mr. Tambourineman in the Darwin Cup recently, have returned home and race in the Balaklava Cup this Wed. Capo Del Opo and Pray In Vain.

On their Darwin efforts Capo Del Opo looks to have the edge but Pray In Vain has started twice at Balaklava for a win and place. Both look nicely weighted.

Yes almost demister jay. Just a lip in it. Fought on extra well.

$10 place and managed the quinella, so wasn't all gloom and doom.

The O'Grady Lefroy

Double Jewel will be too speedy for this lot.

Nice and fresh Moon Talk should run on well for 2nd.

Shake My Hand and Uncle Brian should fight out 3rd and 4th.

Don't think he'll run a place Chenille Prince.

Sad news! Ex WA star Shot Of Thunder had to be put down at Glenlogan Park stud (Qld) after a freak accident yesterday, the stallion fracturing a femur.

Small field will suit. Is forward enough to run a good 1000M. Proof in the pudding

Sad news indeed.

Did he manage to father any offspring in his short career at stud?

Been great weather over here during the week. No more rain and we could have a good track on Sat.
