If this doesn't spark the Lions into life, nothing will.

Important changes:

Okay, we've almost reached the half way mark of this comp and I felt it needed a bit of a lift to spark up a bit more interest. So here's what I'm going to do:

From tomorrow June 1st onwards, as well as the regular AFL, NRL and Rugby matches that we can bet on, there will also be a small selection of major sporting events from round the world that we will be able to bet on. At this stage, it will be the French Open & Wimbledon Tennis, British Open & US PGA Golf, the Ashes Cricket tour and the NBA Basketball final. May add a couple of other events along the way, but that will do for now.

I've decided to allow a couple of extra bookies for the rest of the competition to give us more betting options. From tomorrow, as well as the original 3 bookies (Sportingbet, IAS & Sportodds), you can also use TAB Sportsbet (both the Vic and NSW versions) and Sportsbet Australia.

TAB Sportsbet:
http://www.tab.com.au/sportsbet
http://www.tabsportsbetnsw.com.au
Sportsbet Australia:
http://www.sportsbet.com.au

Also, I've decided to top up everyone's account to the tune of $100, (give or take a few dollars here and there that have been loaned over the duration of the comp so far). Rabbitz, Chuck & Goldmember: along with the remaining free $100 bets, this money will have to last you right through to the end of the comp, so please be careful.

After adding that extra money, here is the new leaderboard:
01 - $1,255.60 TheBookie 53*
02 - $803.00 Betsy 17*
03 - $736.40 discipline pays 34*

Yeah, okay. Are you sure it's going to shorten that much?

Davydenko is $1.57 at Stan James and on oddschecker.com it says its still shortening

I guess it doesn't really matter as $50 isn't really that much, and a few cents either way is only a dollar or two change - just thought I'd get it in early in case the punters continue to go after Davydenko as a knee jerk reaction to a win over Coria

Yeah, you can have the $1.72.

With the Tennis, I would prefer it if people got their tips in early. For example, I'd rather people posted their tips for each night's matches before 7pm if possible, instead of waiting until just before each match starts.

does that mean my next bet is a $94 one?

if not then

Tommy Robredo 3-1 @ $5.00

$10 = $50.00

CB $84.00

if so, then i'll wait for the lines to come up
