![]() Thanks Sportznut,
Congratulations to all contenders who put their punting skills and knowledge on the line. I used 3 different selection methods and based the choice of which method to use, by viewing the form pages for the types of races running on the day. Then (to be honest),"gut feeling" on which method to choose out of the 3 basic selection methods. From all 3 methods, the rules get chopped and changed, depending on market prices, usualy Pre-Post. Good luck all |

![]() I started out reading form and a few gut feeling bets thrown in...then switched to a new method i am trying out at the moment with limited success.....i pick a class horse with good strike rate resuneing or not won from a spell...then i back it to take out $100 plus all losses.....so far i have had 2 wins from 14 horses selected.....mmm..thinking is this going to cost me much but then again outlay is a bit over $600 return so far about $370....most horses have had about 3 runs from the spell...so might get some winners soon

![]() Good effort Sportz checking up on the final results [strewth what a job, you'll need a good lie down now !]. All my tips came out of my ar.. as is usual in the comps. and considering the 9 week outlay of $450 a top POT result for Puntz who becomes our official resident "Forum Pro. Punter" until the spring comp.!!! Hip Hip and Cheers. |

![]() It was actually an incredible effort by Puntz. On 3 occasions he didn't post any tips at all, so that's $100 penalty. Then on another week he totally stuffed up the rules, which meant he missed out on a winner and lost another $50. So, he could well have had a much bigger profit than the $103.50.
