Thanks, Sportz. I appreciate your picks. I like William's too. Betting a lot, with my wife gone to Canada for 10 days. I am drinking Canadian whiskey to help keep her in mind, though.

Regards,

Glenn

So, from past experience, what does the whiskey do to your punting prowess?

The whiskey ruins most all intellectual functions, so I try to have my bets laid out early. We call it, "Handicapping fluid", tongue-in-cheek. Hope you do well this eve.

Glenn

Glenn,

Sorry I haven't got more tips for the meetings you're betting on, but here's a few for you to think about:

Cant
R3-8,5
R4-2,1
R5-2,11
R6-2,6
Doom
R3-2,3
R4-5,2
R5-5,3

My most brilliant bet of tonight was a $1 trifecta on Canterbury R2. I bet a 1,2 with 1,2 with 4,8. It ran 1,2,8 and paid me $35.15 for my $4 bet. My $6 quinella bet only returned $10. Countless times I have had all 3 but only bet the quinella, then the tri often pays 20-50X more. I have seen $1,000 ones I could have had for a $6 or $12
tri box. Well, you never know. I thought I might graduate to tris if my selections ever get good enough to merit it. Oh, well, this drunken, aging scientist is rambling now.

Sportz:

Virtually every race you gave me had one of your selections win or place. I just cashed a very nice quinella at Canterbury 6th race by merely boxing Beadman and Boss.(1-2) Maybe the Sky channel needs to hire you and William to give out picks for us yanks.

Regards,

Glenn

Pity I can't bet your picks in the 8th races at Canterbury and Doomben. My TAB cuts us off after 7 races at each venue tonight. Thanks.

Thanks for that.

Yeah, despite not being amongst my original tips, I had a small bet on Dapple Express and Rectagonal because the odds were so good.
