Too true nitro but some 'past the post' analysis(yes, somewhat convenient and probably guilty of 'back fitting) reveals one filter which would have produced the following outcome in the Q for Melb / Syd;

Personally, I don't think it was too hard at all to get the Melbourne quaddie (providing you were willing to take a good number of runners in the Cup). My top pick won each of the first 3 legs and Fawkner was about my 7th or 8th pick.

So, did I take one? No, of course not.

Just read on another thread the terrible news that Dave101 sadly passed away last Tuesday. Such a shock. Feel so guilty. Here I was wondering on Saturday why he didn't tip.

This week, as well as Saturday's races, we are also allowed to tip on the Friday night races at Moonee Valley. No other races on Friday, just Moonee Valley. But remember, you must post all your tips at once. So if you're tipping on both days, you have to post all your tips before your first race on the Friday night.

After this week, the top 8 tipsters will be left for the finals which start next week. And when we get to the finals, it is just like the AFL or NRL finals. The top 4 tipsters have the advantage of a second chance while for tipsters 5-8, it's knockout. So obviously it's preferable to finish in the top 4 if possible.
