Question Delays

Does anyone know if there are records kept of the delay time, in minutes/secs, from official start time to actual start time for all codes of racing?

Handy to know, as latest bots allow you to program a trigger time after the official start time.

The bot I use just lets you bet x seconds after the actual off rather than relying on start times.

I've got it for Feb to Nov this year. There are almost definitely errors in there, but nowhere near as bad as Betfair data files. I've attached a sample, let me know if it's useful to you.

For that sample, the average delay times were:
AUS.....86 secs
FRA....234 secs
GB.....100 secs
NZ......79 secs

That's 'GOLD' Fred.

Case closed.

Glad it's useful for you.

I don't bet UK races but I always thought they were more punctual than that? Also that sample only had 1000 races.
