I concur, you have the poor cousin of the Pentium computer, but 224mb must be sharing videographics, therefore you could double or quadruple your memory very easily and notice a huge performance improvement for a very cheap cost.

Ram for these units is quite cheap now, but take it to your local shop and get the guys to do it for you.

Considering the processor speed, I'd ask for an upgrade to 1 gigabyte of ram - they'll understand your requirements
Just be carefull about taking it to a PC store as their are plenty of dodgy technicians out there. A lot of PC stores will charge you $50-$100 an hour even for such a simple task as replacing Ram which takes literally 5 mins tops.

Thanks Ricardo, I will be asking how much for the RAM,, ..... THEN..... is that fitted? VERY long in the tooth here you know, by the way is your name of Spanish origin?

Yeah like the Chinese guy on Idol, when asked where he was from? .......he retorted "Melbourne" hahah! I remember one "Aussie" bloke swearing calling me a winging Pom, then confronted by his Dad with the thickest Lancashire accent you've ever heard hahahah!

PS. I only asked cos my Brother in law is called Ricardo, he's from the Philippines.
