Default Ventured west

Belmont today…

Race 4 ESCAPE is first-up today. 2 previous starts in WA not beaten far. A winner at Rosehill & previous first-up record ok. Same race former Enzedder BEWITHYOUMAK is 2nd-up today. Placed once from two starts in NZ. Blinkers added.

Race 5 good debut Belmont first-up from former Victorian REGAL OAMARU and suited extra distance today.

Race 6 another former Victorian BRONC makes his WA debut. Previous first-up performances reasonable.

Default grey matter

Yes indeed a great result for the greys in the 6th grey sapphire. With Expedition out just the 3 starters, finishing 1st, 2nd & 3rd with the winner Crossing Jordan paying $40 win in WA!

A few today at Northam. Tribute To Alfie & Zed’s Girl in the 1st. Carlos the 2nd, Vain Vixen the 6th. And Maverick’s Pago the 7th.

The greys seem to go pretty well this time of year Steve. Nice result yesterday. My better half backed Crossing Jordan! Not because he's a grey but she's a keen fan of the TV series Not complaining. Received a nice bottle of scotch courtesy the missus

The 4th at Northam today looks a good race for Torbay Bay. Beat Tycoon Cut C3 this track 1000M last start. Tycoon Cut finished 2nd in the last Belmont yesterday. Start before Torbay Bay led and fought on well over 1200M C6 at Belmont.

Good to see another good day for the greys puntersteve. Vain Vixen broke a long standing class record!
