Hardly anybody thought Fremantle could win this week, which is exactly why they probably will. The Dockers are the Bookies' friend.

the draw will get me a bit of $$ back ... i think??

disgraceful finish to game , may as well bend over the dockers and finish them off!!! imagine if this was collingwood or essendon .i reckon there will be an appeal and dockers should be awarded game if fairness was an issue .

i watch white line fever from time to time and they have that derek humphrey-smith come on and tell us how all the controversial decisions by the umpire where all correct and that the umpires dont make many mistakes .

Good luck explaining this one!!!

Well, I can understand them not hearing the siren, but there should be some other way they can adjudicate in situations like that. It shouldn't just be down to the umpire hearing the siren. The reserve umpire should be sitting with the official timekeeper or something, and he can decide on situations like that.

Seriously though, I think they should make the siren damn loud enough so that everyone can hear it.

Yeah, I assume you simply backed St Kilda to win? If so, you'll get half your dividend on that part of the bet.

However, if you bet on the margins or something like that where a draw is an option, then you lose.

In regard to not hearing siren , not sure if you saw what happened, but a couple of the dockers were screaming at umpire.. maybe the ump should have at least confered with another umpire, hard to believe that 3 field umps 2 boundary 2 goal and 1 emergency ump didnt hear siren when some of players did.

i get some $$$ back.. but an enormous injustice has occured

Well if the game needs to keep going until the Umpire hears the Siren,Why aren't they still out there playing right now!

Was there a secondary Siren Blown after the point was kicked?

Unfortunatly the umpire has the last word and the siren has nothing to do with it he should be keeping his own time clock for all the quarters as it is done in other sports.......yes not a good result but thats sports for you.
