Default Betfair Laying

Ok I've just joined BF, and from a quick look it seems its either win or lose bets. I can't bet to place, you see I'm a cautious, conservative and positive type. So I like to back a qualified Fav to place.

If the fav wins approx %32, it must lose approx %68.
So if one were to lay the fav one would have a %68 S/R, yes?
Or
If one were to lay the field, 10 runners and only one can win....

Surely its not that simple.
Mike

Wink

Mike, there are place markets.

And no it's not that simple. What can be done with BF is only limited by your imagination.

Only this morning I laid a horse in the US @ 2.20, and backed it back @ 44....pity it was for peanuts.
