Exclamation Forum Each Way Tipping Comp

Okay, something new. I'm going to pick out 5 races each week which are fairly strong and open, and we have to look at making a profit betting each way on them.

You have $600 to spend each week, $120 each on 5 races.

You must back 3 horses in each race and you must back them all each way.

The maximum you can bet on any one horse is $50ew, and the minimum is $5ew. So, for example, if you're really keen on one horse, you could have $50ew on it and $5ew on 2 other horses. Or you could have $20ew on all 3 horses. You can have any combination, as long as it all adds up to $120 ($60 each way).

If you have a scratching, and you can't come back on and change your picks, money will simply be refunded.

There is another catch to this comp which will make it interesting I think. I'm not going to use the prices of the TAB for this one. I'm going to use our own selections to create our very own forum TAB prices. So, the dividend we get back for our selections will be dependant on how many other people pick those horses and how much money we collectively bet on them. Should be fun.

The deadline to post your bets is 30 mins before the first race which this week means you have to post your tips by 2:05 AEST tomorrow.

Here are this week's races..........

Oh Sportz, do I dare enter this comp.?

OK. I'm in!

I do think your price thingy is a bit screwy [why not good old TAB unitab?], but who cares as it applies to everyone.

IPSW has to be one of the nastiest tracks in Aust. [I'll never bet on it again]. A horses for courses track with a short uphill straight for fit horses only!

I think you'll find it interesting once we get going. This way, we really are competing against just the other people in the competition, rather than competing against every TAB punter. If someone is good enough to pick a winner that nobody else in the comp picks, they'll be rewarded with a nice dividend. Mind you, we need a fair number of tipsters. It won't be much good if we only have a handful.
