Default 2000 Reasons to Win at Greyhounds

Starting BANK - $2000

The Meadows Race 8

The first thing I find is that #2 BLU PIE GIRL is a quick beginner and tends to head to the rails.
This gives the animal immediately outside it, a clear run to the 1st turn.
But she has an ordinary record at The Meadows and can't rate her using her Excellent Sandown Form. Its sort of a horses for courses thing.
#3 COUNT CORRECT probably ain't good enough to take the advantage and win today.
#1 PURE THIRST weakened badly last start, but I'll give it another Chance. It shouldn't be hampered by the #2, because it also tends to shift inwards.
#4 REALLY SWEET looks like it will get a lovely run behind the leaders and will be too strong today.

The MARKET

4 REALLY SWEET $4.5
1 PURE THIRST $4.8
7 SPIRAL SIREN $7.5
8 JEBRYNAH'S PRIDE $8
6 BLACK ZAC $8.5
2 BLU PIE GIRL $9
3 COUNT CORRECT $14
5 PAPER PENNY $50

Being so Open, The EXACTA is the way to go here.
I prefer the EXACTA over the QUINELLA because my top 2 selections are preferred over the rest of the Field and I expect at least one of them to figure in the first two.

EXACTAS
4,1 - 4,1 for $2.50
4,1 - 6,7,8 for $1.50
6,7,8 - 4 for $1
7 - 1 for $1
4 - 2 for $1

Total Cost $19

LESSON Number 1
Something to note in your studies.
If an animal produced an extraordinary effort in its History when it led, it is very unlikely to reproduce that effort unless it leads.

Default WARRNAMBOOL CUP

The study starts with EL GALO
Those that know, say that it can improve on last weeks effort.
I suggest not to get too carried away with his Racing Record.
This is a VERY Good Field.
He really needs to ping to clear some mighty quick acceleration inside him.
It does look a little as though the 4 inside runners could cause themselves to tire early and allow something from behind to overwhelm them at the finish.

TAIPAN BALE blew the start last week but came home very well after being held up for much of the Race.
With the slow beginners outside him, will be well up there and if there is any sort of interference inside early, could easily set up a Race winning lead.

I came up with this

4 EL GALO $3.5
1 GARDAM PRINCE $5
5 TAIPAN BALE $6.5
6 FIDEL BALE $8
3 REMO RUBIK $10
7 FEDEX $16
2 HANIFY'S IMPACT $20
8 DANCING LIGHTS $33

Because I think EL GALO will start Under the Odds and because it is so Open, I'm going for the QUINELLA.

QUINELLAS
1 - 4 $5.50
4 - 5 for $4
4 - 6 for $3
1 - 5 for $3
3 - 4 for $2.50
1 - 6 for $2

Total Cost $20

Default BENDIGO Race 7

There is a Vacant Box 7 so I start looking to see if it can assist any animals either side of it.
#6 RENOVATING is a slowish beginner so the Vacant Box won't assist it to get up near the lead.
#8 ESKIMO MAGGIE would probably lead this Field even without the vacant Box inside her.
The two inside Boxes also have good early speed and will be up amongst it.

The Market

8 ESKIMO MAGGIE $2.8
1 RONCHI $3
2 SANGAKKARA $8.5
5 BUBOKN $14
4 GALBA CHRIS $16
3 CREEKS PUZZLE $33
6 RENOVATING $40

TRIFECTAS
8,1 - 8,1 - 2 for $2.50
8,1 - 8,1 - 5,4 for $1.50
8,1 - 2 - 8,1 for $1.50
8,1 - 4,5 - 8,1 for $1
2 - 8,1 - 8,1 for $1

Total Cost $20

Default For the EARLY Risers

WANGARATTA Race 8

#2 EMOTIONAL WAVE led all the way here last start in good time.
It really pinged out but I doubt it can get out that quick again.
I see GREY CHERRY from the cherry leading all the way.
But I can't find the Placegetters, so the Bet is GREY CHERRY straight out.

The actual wager depends on the Odds available.
I wish a Profit of $40
I'm looking for Even Money for my Maximum $40 Investment.
The Minimum wager will be $20.
The idea is to get the Bank Back in the Black.

Default WANGARATTA Race 6

#1 JUST EILEEN jumps out well and leads all the way
#2 TORNADO MAN gets behind her, but a fair way behind, but by hugging the rails, it comes home hard to perhaps win.

I can't split these two and a QUINELLA is the go here.

QUINELLA 1 - 2 for $10

Hopefully it pays over $3 but These are very popular Numbers
