"Gai has great expectations"
Gai Waterhouse is confident of capping a decade of excellence with a fourth Magic Millions triumph from either Brightexpectations or Extreme Mover at the Gold Coast tomorrow.
Racing's first lady has dominated the $2 million juvenile race in recent years, winning with Assertive Lad (2000), Excellerator (2001) and Dance Hero (2004),
She believes Brightexpectations and Extreme Mover are capable of fighting out the finish of the glamour 1200m race despite drawing wide out in barriers 15 and 16.
