I've been waiting for over a day for an email reply from Race Mate. Before I pay $976 AUD, I want to be sure they're still in business.

Is anybody still using them?

Have you read the fine print in the registration section ?

looks like something I should look into. Getting the data from the HKJC website looks easy enough.

I know tab co-mingles the pools but I assume the takeout here is worse then directly betting into the HKJC pools ? Anyone know ?

I have always stayed away from HK as I know the large syndicates are there and they are going to be hard to compete with. But maybe there is a lot of Mug money there too.

Thanks for pointing that out.

In any case, it's been over 48 hours since I sent an email, and four phone calls during their business hours have all hit their answering machine. I'm going to assume they're out of business or at least not taking care of business.

Since there doesn't seem to be any proprietary software for Hong Kong, at least that that's sold, I'm going to use what's on the HKJC website. I'm not much of a programmer, so I might hire somebody to write an interface that pulls the data from the site and puts all of it into one easy-to-use interface.

Impressed with your determination and common sense approach cologada. Have you got somebody in mind already or are you going to source externally?

Cheers LG

I have a relative who programs for me for about a fourth of what a regular programmer would.
