B Cooper is the darling of the Sky Channel yes men. I'm not a fan and after her absolute slaughter of Polar North in the second my feelings are confirmed.
Why did she fight with a horse that clearly wanted to stride in a slowly run race?
Then 7 wide in a field of 8 around the corner.
She's on the blacklist in indelible ink.

Yes! It was a pretty poor effort.

She may have been under instruction though.

Watch for Polar Norths next start, it may pay overs.

Get'em the rest of the day! Good Luck

Amazing from top jockey to coffee shop...am i missing something here did she lose interest or did she have an accident or something. She seemed so passionate about being a jockey.

cheers

Bernadette was involved in a serious race fall early 2005 [Macau] but from memory did resume riding [in Macau] late that year. Perhaps never fully recovered.

Anyone catch "A Girl, A Horse, A Dream" a documentary aired about 5 years ago & repeated a few times since. Follows Bernadette Cooper over the course of a year in which she competed at some of the most prestigious races in the country. A real eye opener in terms of how she was treated by her peers!
