Some interesting observations regarding Black Caviar and her Dam Helsinge.

I was amazed to learn that Black Caviar only wore race plates at her final start at Randwick. Question remains, was she wearing no plates at all or was she wearing heavy shoes?

Most of us know that Helsinge never raced, it was because she showed huge ability in training, but kept breaking down. Not sure what the condition actually was, but could account for the back problems BC endured.
They tried many times to get her right, so refunded the shares already sold in her. I thought you didn't get refunds on live horses???
