A few tips for value to kick off 06' [SAT].
After a nice holiday in the Sun, lets see if my Handicapping eye is in.
Based on good track condt. win/place or e/way, whatever your poison. Sandown R3/7 Lauren's charm R6/6 Pinstripe R7/5 Kempola Adl. R7/4 Exalted Ego 'Pinstripe' should have the best odds of the bunch. Good punting, Crash Last edited by crash : 7th January 2006 at 09:09 AM. |

Good to see you still around XTP and hope you do some good with these Avenger and Luv2bet..
Pinstripe is an interesting one. Been out for 2yrs. I think his first up run was a bit 'dodgy'. Jockey was quired. Now it has Greg Childs on-board [?] with a very impressive 2nd. up record [lousy first up record anyway]. Might flop but at great odds worth a dabble. Might be a big surprise today. Loves this distance. Kepola's [was on it's last win] odds might be skinny this time. 'Heavy' in Brisbane. 3 and 17 [at v/g odds] for me to win in the Bermborough HCP. Fingers crossed. 'Pinstripe' should have the best odds of the bunch. Crash I am intrigued as to what has taken your fancy with Pinstripe. 1 run past 2 yrs. Last win over 1400m., 3 yrs. back in N.Z. |

Imagele,
Pinstripe was my roughy for the day [4 starts for 3 wins this distance and 3/1.1.0 second up]. The outside barrier didn't help today but came home very strongly from last before fading for 5th[?]. It needed this run I think for it's age. Raced in some good races including group. I sniffed the air and took a punt. I will certainly be looking at it's next start. Bit of a dog day afternoon overall. Cranky about backing Exalted Ego. Bolters for 1,2,3 with a Tri. of over $7k. Typical Listed result. Laura's Charm won at $4.80. Practical Timing in the biggy in Brisb. a very close second. Kepola was a no bet, way unders at a ridiculous fav. price of $2 something [2nd]. No way I thought it would start Fav. Cheers, Crash |
