Default HIGH STRIKE LOW LOSS SYSTEM

Hi all. Like all on this site, I have read numerous artlicles of staking. A couple that come to mind suggest that a system that looses less than 15% level stakes can be turned around to make a profit with a (recovery staking plan). Cannot recall where to find particulars. (This old brain getting close to OBE)

Briefly my particulars read for past 14 months..
Races Bet: 2044 .
Races Won: 1067
S.R./Race: 52.2%
Return : 1921.10
$ Profit : -127.90
% P.O.T. : -6.2%

Longest run of outs was 8 and max div. $4.80 .

Open to all suggestions. Thanks in advance.

My take on this enjay: The maths LONG TERM can prove that staking plans are a band aid and serve little purpose. While staking is small you can mask all sorts of things with a staking plan. BUT, I believe if you want to make serious returns then you need to get the system profitable on it's own merits first.

Once you have the system working then is the time to use staking plans to amplify your success.

Like I said, MY TAKE ON IT ONLY. Good strike rate but:-)

Progressive staking works at very high strike rates (98%+ strike rate)

Essentially it is likely you will lose 2 or 3 in this case in a small time frame BUT there will be runs long enough in between to win the cash back.

Progressive staking I have found does not work on strike rates less then this unless the system is already profitable.

The only thing i can think of is maximising price enjay. Incidentally, what does the place return look like?

That's one hell of a scorecard on win and place mate. How about parlay bets per card / day etc? Wouldn't be too much extra work and would mean you avoid having to bother with a recovery system.

I was going to use 2018 saying laying everything above $100 as an example.

Staking would use the following. If the current run is a loss then double the bet till back in front. Only double up once.

BUT laying everything above $100 is showing a profit this year. So it took a profit of $793 and turned it into a profit of $954. Not the best example because the system was already showing a profit.

I'll check last years figures.

Laying everything over $100 last year was also a winner so not a good example either.

The double up staking did turn it from a profit of $2655 to a profit of $3248.

Well this is embarrassing. I just realised I had one of my "special" filters on it. I'll leave it at that though as the examples show a progressive staking system can work.

Nothing like a special filter UB. The good lord provides the grail and the chosen ones keep it safe.

Reminds me UB, one of your best ever trials in here I did some experimentation on regarding testing - trialling runs of two or three all up. Maybe something in this for you as well enjay.

MAGIC
