Default Best Options For Watching The Races

Hi all.

Trying to work out the best option for watching the races, am looking at only web based or mobile as i don't have pay TV.

Right now my options are http://www.racingnetwork.com.au/ this is free and covers a few meetings daily, if i want to use it on my tablet i have to pay $20 a month and i have not been able to get the website video working on tablet on pc.

If i pay the subscription am i getting any more races or just the replays and stuff.

http://www.skyracing.com.au if you have a tab account it is free right now but it costs normally and not sure on the new pricing structure at the end of the month, i know it stayed free depending on your tier position.

The video on your pc is pretty average, good quality on your phone with the app but they don't have one for my tablet, gees weak.

If you have a WA tab account it is free but am sure they would want you to place bets so i guess it depends on how much and if it is worth while or just pay the general sub.

If you have any opinions on watching the races other than paytv let me know.

Looks like you can use: http://www.drf.com/events/australian-racing-live-stream if you're overseas.

And you can use the tool available at hola.org to pretend you're overseas, if you're not

The above link is sometimes the TVN/racingnetwork.com.au feed, only without the compere, delayed interviews, ads and the like. Instead of those you get pictures of the horses milling about and listen to the caller forget the mic's been left on (memorising horse names, or asking owners of vehicles to move their cars, or querying why the phone always rings when they're about to go into the barriers!

Now we're off to the Sunshine Coast, which doesn't seem to be part of the TVN feed at all. So you certainly don't get every race, but you may get some different races.
