Manikato, you must be young as well to leave out Kingston Town, he would beat them all, especially if he drew the outside barrier. (insert smilie here because I don't know how to)

I left him out because he raced prior to '89.

Rough Habit is always left out of these discussions - 12 G Ones in Vic, NSW, Qld and NZ - never dodged the topliners and a good horse for 4 or 5 seasons.
If it's wet for your fantasy 2000m race he is 6/4 favourite.

This is what makes racing so great , everyone has a different opinion , and the great thing is no ones opinion is right or wrong , there is never a dull minute.

If Brian York was riding Sunline, at wfa I would like to have a dollar or two on Octgagonal with Dye as the whip. Most of you guys have let him drift in the market and I think the never say die attitude might be handy in a race like this (not that some of the other horses are wanting in this trait mind you).

How good was Lonhro yesterday! And OneBet fires up for another win! It's all happening.

Howdy Placegetter,
Great to see your posts again!

Lonhro won very well and I especially liked the way he stretched out over the last 200m.
Was a bit shortpriced for a question mark over his fitness, but stamped his class all over that field. Very nice run by Ancient Song and will be backing him next start.

Don't laugh, but put Intergaze in. He'll start long odds, but we won't stop trying. Don't forget that he actual beat a few of these.
