hey guys just wondering if u guys like this sort of betting????
personally i love it, you can pick 4 very short favourites and still get a descent price

warriors $1.48
roosters $1.36
bulldogs $1.20
broncos $1.33

= $3.12

do you guys think thats a good price and a good chance of winning???

anyway my moneys on it, and only a huge upset will loose me my money

what do u guys think???

jimmy

Yeah, I guess those teams looks okay.

I must admit that I'm probably a bit too cautious when it comes to that style of betting though. I would always worry that you might have 3 wins up and then the 4th team gets beaten by a point or something. Ouch!

or double your stake and just 2 teams.... or up the anti and just back the one that you think is a sure thing 1.20 is better than bank interest ...I read on another forum ...think small win big...... in fact i think im gunna start with ten or twenty pick a home team that i think is a shoe in and keep reinvesting my doe and see how long it lasts
OK My Lobsters going on the Bulldogs all up the Broncos...Ive got to be better at the footy than I am at the gee gees

Just working out if you start with $50 and all up your money each week what u would get.
If u get odds of $1.20 each week, after 20 weeks u would have $1900.
Odds of $1.30 would get u $9500.
Odds of $1.40 would get u $41800.

If u take the pick your own start option u can get some easy bets.

brisbane +4.5 $1.20
newcastle +2.5 $1.39
NZ +2.5 $1.19

Well, so much for that huh? Bad luck with your bet.

Anyway, I guess it just proves there's no such thing as a sure thing. St George Illawarra do have a pretty good record in NZ, so today's result didn't actually surprise me too much.

Personally, I also agree with Nevets' comment "not this early in the year". The first few rounds do tend to throw up some funny results.
