M4 5 6 14 no result
M5 2 3 8 no result

M7 1 3 5 $2.10
M8 4 9 11 no result
M9 1 3 7 $3.50

SYSTEM 2 - SR 67% POT 3.7% - Machine code triumphs over flesh n bone and removal of wide barrier just pushes us over the line.

Also of note is that when both systems spit out the same selections(3 races), we get the following ...

SR 100% POT = 147%

SYSTEM 1 - computer
S1 2 3 6 $4.50
S2 2 3 6 $3.10
S3 2 3 4 $1.40
S4 1 2 9 No result
S5 1 6 9 $1.40
S6 1 2 3 $4.40
S7 1 3 5 $2.40
S8 1 4 9 $2.30
S9 4 7 10 No result

SYSTEM 2 - pro-tipster
S1 2 3 5 $4.50
S2 3 4 6 $3.10
S3 2 3 5 $1.40
S4 1 2 13 No result

Man v Machine = identical result

SR = 7/9 = 78% and LOT = 27%

Same selections = 1 race

SR = 100% POT = 40%

Combined results - MEL and SYD

Overall (machine)
SR = 13/18 = 72%
POT =20.4%

Same selections (both systems)
SR = 4/4 = 100%
POT = 120%

Machine beats man but where the individual selections were identical, we got a substantially better result!

Before somebody pulls my pants down, just realised that the POT stats for same selections both systems is a load of old rubbish as I have 3 selections in each race rather than one!

HOWEVER .. POT for machine picks (SYSTEM 1) is spot on so I will keep monitoring.

Cheers LG
