Understood. Thanks mate. It was the way that you had the bets set out that confused me. Bit slow on the uptake.

thats alright ..But you are right about trifectas..even discussing it with seasoned pros they all say its dammed..they say to many variables blah blah ..
i'm so far doing fine but then again i'm only a few weeks into it...i hope to prove them wrong.

System looks good and like a lot of fun, however i'm not to happy about the fact that you back favourites just for the fact they are favourites. Many favourites are well under the odds and would be foolish to risk 100 units on i'd prefer to look at say a top rating horse or even sportsman, best bets top selction even though these are often favourites.

Cheers ED

I see what you mean Mr Ed..
I've seen Fav's that are short for the only reason that the public want them to win (eg Lonhro's last start)..
I'll keep on eye on the top rating horses in the races i select tomorrow..
Thanks for the advice...

It seems very hard work but considering i only got one winner from nine selections i'm pretty happy..i just wish i could of snagged one of those huge tri's at Ipswich.
well i'll keep going i haven't heard the fat lady singing yet but she might be just round the corner

Mr Ed using the Sportsma Zip ratings for the races in which i selected.
elimenating outside 10 barrier.
in the tri's with my selection and the highest Zip rating selection on top
and then 7 on the 2nd line and third.
i would of collected 242.11 instead of my miserly 71 for the day.
Basically the difference is i would of got the tri Br2.
I'll be keeping a very close eye on this..
Thanks heaps

Maverick,

Don't know if it would have helped, but Motivate was the top Unitab rating for the Cup. Have you looked at including them in your trifectas?
