Current Tab SPORTSbet odds
Souths $1.65 (was $2.50) ($2.65 before that  ) New Zealand $3.75 (was $2.35) Manly $4.25(was $3.25) Could end up winning at both ends of the spectrum

Now for those remotely interested
If the spoon is between souths, manly and warriors then how would you rate the run home RD23 Cowboys v SOUTHS (away) St George v WARRIORS (away) MANLY v Knights (home) Cowboys should beat souths(confirmed) St George should beat warriors(confirmed) Manly may beat newcastle at Brookvale(confirmed) So after Rd 23 possible Manly 18 pts,Souths 15 pts ,Warriors 16 pts Rd 24 Eels v Warriors(confirmed) Souths v Manly Suppose eels beat warriors(yes) Suppose souths beat manly Then Manly 18 pts,Souths 17 pts,Warriors 16 pts Rd 25 Souths v BRONCOS- Aussie stad. Warriors v ROOSTERS-Ericsson St George v Manly - Kogarah Broncos should beat souths Roosters should beat warriors St George should beat Manly Manly 18 pts,Souths 17 pts,Warriors 16 pts Rd 26 Raiders v Souths -Canberra Stad Warriors v Dogs -Ericcson Manly v Storm-Brookvale Raiders should beat souths at home Dogs should beat Warriors even though its at ericcson Storm dont travel very well.If Manly find form at home they can win So at finish Manly 20 points,Souths 17 points,Warriors 16 points So the big game is SOUTHS V MANLY Souths win,Warriors win spoon Manly wins,Souths win the spoon Cheers So at current prices kindly supplied by Paddy Souths $1.65 Warriors $3.75 The following bets could be made For a 100 unit outlay 61 units on souths at $1.65=$100.65 65 profit 39 units on Warriors at $3.75 =$146.25 Profit $46.25 Now assuming this all goes to plan and either warriors or souths get the spoon, then you will make 65c or $46.25 or in Mr J,s case throw on 10 times the bank and make $6.50(woo hoo) or $462.50 Cheers P.S. This is only a guide ,dont come back and say crazy rabbitz,Souths won four from four and made 8th spot and the eels got the spoon. _________________ [ This Message was edited by: rabbitz on 2004-08-09 18:59 ] [ This Message was edited by: rabbitz on 2004-08-14 21:24 ] [ This Message was edited by: rabbitz on 2004-08-18 09:35 ] [ This Message was edited by: rabbitz on 2004-08-22 16:02 ] |

Souths $1.40 (was $1.65) New Zealand $2.75 (was $3.75) Manly $12.00 (was $4.25) That $2.65 sure is starting to look good now.

Back to back spoons,St george won 11 premierships in a row,its hard to see souths getting 11 spoons in a row

No salary cap in St George's day, and with the players they had, they would have been well over it today. Speaking of Salary caps, if it hadn't been for the Bulldogs rorting, Souths would have come last in 2002 as well.
