Hi ya Chuck, I recently downloaded and have started playing at partypoker.com , play money at this stage. I might try real $$$ a little further down the line, depends how I go with the play money first.

Yes, I started playing with playmoney at Party too. The sit and go tournaments are probably best competition, but the limit games are a good way to learn the game. Basically everyone on the playmoney tables is a maniac. It's very easy to win these games by just playing better starting hands than your opponents and pretty soon you'll want to play for real.

A couple of weeks ago I made my first deposit. $200 USD. I have played the lowest limit tables ($0.50/$1.00) and been a consistant winner just by following the starting hands recomended in any poker book. Yesterday I entered the $5000 first deposit freeroll that Party offer and out of 2000+ starters I came 9th! Very happy!

Anyway, JD or Chuck, I'm online most every evening at some stage playing limit holdem. My screen name is Psychic_htz, say g'day if you want to have a friendly game at one of the playmoney tables.
