Jose is probably hanging limp from a tree somewhere right now!

Anyone betting serious money on the football inside the first 6 rounds doesn't respect their dough. No formlines evident until round 6 or 7 then Origin stuffs things up for about 6 weeks.

Personally, I like to bet on the football for the last 6 rounds then the semis. Otherwise, too much guesswork.

I normally watch the first 3 rounds while i bet on the gee gee's at the autumn carnival, then step in, but i bet from round 1 ths year for some stupid reason and paid the price, Round 4 this week and i win,things look pretty even this year due to the salary cap and there should be better value coming, the "public teams", roosters, panthers and bulldogs look like they'll struggle for a little while longer, so bet around them .

JD, the Prince/ Marshall halves combination is probably the best in the league, something the chooks don't have [ unfortunately ] they have'nt been beaten with them there yet, 2/2 last year and 2/2 this year, so look out warriors next week!

Well, that's it, I am officially the worst judge in the land.
Some consolation in that;
*The Sharkies got up
*The Cowboys got up
*The Broncos got beat

I'll just lick my wounds for the next few days.
No matter, bring on the next round.

Cool

Jose, fair dinkum, do u know your league??? If u have watched the cowboys the past 16-18 months, the only observation u get is that , they are incapable of producing a shocker, and it was certainly not going to happen on home turf!!

If you're the worse judge in the land jose too bad you're not in the NRL tipping comp. At least that way I'd be assured of not taking out the wooden spoon

Bad luck Jose, takes balls to back your judgement, post a thread like this and back it up with a large bet. Your rationale may have been fine but ******** happens, i've got plenty of pre-race certainty, beaten, stories from the track i'm sure it's no different with sports.

I don't think he said anywhere that the Cowboys were going to get beaten.
