If you reckon Chenille Prince’s run was full of merit then you would have to concede that Black Tom’s run was as good if not better. Gave Chenille Prince a start and a beating! 2nd last on the turn beaten only 1.75L. Was the run of the race outside the winner (Master Minx) for mine. Agree Chenille Prince also a good run.

It's the start of the Sky Channel Ascot Summer Racing Carnival at beautiful Ascot by the river. Today we have an action packed card with two big races. The states richest race is on the card today in the Group 1 Railway Stakes and we also get to see who is currently the best filly in the state in the WA Champion Fillies Stakes. This is the start of the lead up to the famous Perth Cup which at one stage had more prizemoney than the Melbourne Cup. Let's see how many winners we can get from now until Perth Cup Day.

Also full of merit Hartleys Dream performance in the Lee Steere. Got back further than they would of planned after a tardy start. Flew home to run 3rd (on protest). The son of Bletchley Park has a fantastic win strike rate of 50% (11 wins / 22 starts) so you would expect him to notch up at least a couple of wins over the next month or two.


The one to beat in the Prince Of Wales today!


Only got warm late last start tomorrow the 1600 should suit ideally!

The breeding is absolute Royalty, but by jeez it's a disappointing thing... Anyway I will be have an interest bet on that one, though I think MAster Minx is the one in that race...

Sat 03 Dec 2005 R4 #5 Star Trek. This race is likely to go to the one with the biggest finish and I reckon the Trekkie can beam us up over the last 200m. Was on the pace in very hot 1800m race won by Master Minx two weeks ago and returned a prep best figure. This is probably his last chance to win one this prep as he has now been up a fair while. Back to the mile and S Parnham back on suits. I am showing some balls this week by taking a set against likely fav #2 Empire Dancer. I hope she is looking for a little further now. 5 from 2 then 9.

If you reckon Chenille Prince’s run was full of merit then you would have to concede that Black Tom’s run was as good if not better. Gave Chenille Prince a start and a beating! 2nd last on the turn beaten only 1.75L. Was the run of the race outside the winner (Master Minx) for mine. Agree Chenille Prince also a good run.

Good memory Mav. Originally mentioned a couple of months back can’t remember who but poster knew part owner (friend / reli) and said staying was the caper. Just won a maiden out bush and was stepping up to middle distance for the first time and in the city. Ran a place that day (I backed it) only beat 1len. Been competitive since then all but 1 start when trainer advised (after) that he intended to increase the mare's workload. Pretty positive results since then.

Sat 10 Dec 2005 R8 #11 Free At Last. My numbers for the G1 Fruit & Veg have her so far ahead of the others that I just have to bet her. The 111 last start was better than the winner's 109 and now she meets many from that race on much better terms at WFA. Looks to get lovely run just off mid field and will finish hard. It's currently at 1-1, this is the third season we've done this....first season he really killed me, he won by a huge margin, which I told him he might cause he is living there and gets all the inside info. Second season I won by one solitary tip.

It's all or nothing this season, whoever wins takes an 2-1 advantage.

I see TAB is not covering their 26th December meeting according to the ozbet.com.au schedule, so I would lose that meeting for sure lol.

Re: esperance, Generally they can only have pr, cr and crx so if there are not enough codes it doesnt get covered by the tab. Also the lack of turnover would impact the decision.

Re: Hong Kong, it's probably only because adelaide(south aust) very rarely have two meetings on a sunday and it is the least likely code to clash.
