2 BARRABAS $6.3
3 SELYNYA SURPRISE $7.7
5 ALLEN MONARO $7.8
10 MAJOR ENFORCER $7.8
7 MELALUKA LAD $7.8
1 CHARLIE CHA CHA $7.8
4 SAM WINCHESTER $8.6
8 COOL FURY $12
Notice the closeness of the Market here.
It don't mean not to bet, it just means they all have equal chance of winning.
I suggest backing any animal available at over $12 for a small amount.
Even better would be over $16
small means 2 or 3 bucks.

Hopefully the result here ain't an indication of what is gonna happen for me tonight at Sandown :(

Hopefully the result here ain't an indication of what is gonna happen for me tonight at Sandown :(My point moeee, I can't for the life of me see why you lost money on this race?
2-3-5 you predicted, what on earth prevented you from betting
3 units on the 2 and 1 on each the 3 and the 5?
Never go below your third selection for a win, that is just gambling.
If you can't pick a winner in three, and you can! you are proving it every day, don't bother going any further down.

Ah, Now I understand Lomaca why you can't understand why I keep losing!!
The thing about my postings is that they aren't selections as such.
I ain't about tipping animals like they do in Newspaper Polls.
If you look at the Odds I provided here, you will see that they are all the same, or vey close to it.
That means I can't split them.
That I happened to have the Winner in 3rd on this occasion, may well have been because of Alphabetical Order of the Names.
I think you need to ponder a little more about your statement "Never go below your third selection for a win, that is just gambling."
EVERY animal has a chance of winning a Race Lomaca.
Some are very remote, and hinge on half the Field falling over.
But a chance nevertheless.
Its pretty hard to argue with you here when your point is documented in the Results, but don't forget, I managed to back a $24 Winner yesterday which was about 5th pick.
I sort of know what you are saying, and I figure that if I followed your advice, then the option would be to pass this Ballarat Race completely as being too hard.
But me being Gamblerholic, is very difficult for me, and the best I can do at the minute is to limit my Wager Size to a negligible amount.

My point moeee

No difficult task at all Lomaca.
Favourites win 30%
2nd Faves win maybe 16%
3rd Faves, I dunno , say 12%?
Theres 58% of winners just selecting the top 3 in the Market and no need to spend a second of time doing the Form.
And I figure the actual percentage might be closer to 66%.
There is a lot more to winning than just backing the top selections.
Getting Overlays is the ONLY way of making Profit, but devising a way of estimating whether a animal is an Overlay or not is extremely difficult.
If you are winning Lomaca , it is because you are finding Overlays, whether you understand that you are or not.
It is somehow inherent and built into your selection method, even if you are unaware of it.

The visit to Fatima And the dunking by the Pedo in the frock at Lourdes seems to have created a miracle for me.
Isnt that wonderful but then it couldn,t have happened to a better man eh.?

As a matter of fact I really don't know what you are doing or talking about.
I'm talking about your rating not the first 3-4-5-6 in the market!
Like yesterday, I think you rated 3 races got the winner in the first, and it was the fave. or sec. fave. then you got the winner in the second race you rated and it payed over $10.
Now, why couldn't you just bet on them for a win and stop after the second win?
Are you allergic to money?
Look, anyhoo, you do as you please.
Good luck

STOP?????
STOP GAMBLING??????
While there are still races to go?
I'ld need to go with Darkydog2 down to Lourdes for any chance of That happening.
Seriously though Lomaca, I guess I have no idea how my selections are travelling due to my stoopidity at not keeping records.
If I ever, EVER , get to My Peak of $2450 , then I swear I will save all my work to my USB Stick and Database it or something and manipulate the Data to see exactly where it is I am going wrong.
And don't forget, I only bet maybe $10 per Race when it is warranted, with a very occasional venture for over $20
Usual bets are closer to $5 per Race.
If I were to bet as what I consider very heavy as you do Lomaca, then I probably put a bit more commonsense into it.
But I am somewhat afraid that would kill the pleasure and joy I am receiving at the minute with it more as a hobby, than anything else.

If it works? might be worth it.
I have been there, as a visitor only mind and I think it's highly overrated and commercial, but that's just me I suppose.
STOP?????

I was not going to mention that, knowing that if haven't kept records before now, it's unlikely you ever will.
nonetheneverless good record keeping can turn even losing system around and yours is far from losing.

I must admit I'm somewhat of a mercenary, I only do it for the money.
