Race 1.
Not a fan of this race ..it looks like Chikadee has them all covered but what price ? Swap won well last start,,but Chikadee with the form around Boheiman Dancer looks to good..if i had to have a go i'd look at Arts Success who ran on well behind Chikadee .but i'd have to get a price on him..
Race 2.
I took on Countess Bathory last time and got burnt..wont do it again..looks a class above most of these...i can see tycoon Rose running her usual honest race...Amused might have a chance here..i see Jimmy has taken this mount instead of Navaro which does say something..
Both will be shortish and not much value ..but the toppy should win this..if they gamble with her i'll be on,,
Race 3.
Colins Party is all the rage here...but i'm taking him on.....i think Octama's form lines are in a different league to these ..he's been close against some good horses..Mighty icon has been running on well and Twanged is in this aswell...Hifilante a chance to grab a place also..
But i keep coming back to Octama ....should get a nice run and hopefully be about 6's ,,
Race 4.
Vitruvian won well last start...i think the bookies might gamble with him..he only won a maiden and now hes in a class 6 ...but he won well and the others have had there chance and theres no super stars among them..Vitruvian looks like the extra 100m will suit and Colless is flying..
if i get the right price here i'll be on....he might have a future this boy.
street Smart has the form on the board but i hear theres a big push for him so he'll be unders..
Race 5.
Maxy Legs here ..very confident...should of beaten the Princess last start..will get the nice run here again ..this race isnt any harder ..
thought Arrowsweep at a million to 1 could grab a place..
Race 6.
Admiral Spy here..been on him all this prep,,,he looks well placed here again..he should of finished way closer last start except for some interference.. and he'd be a triple stake selection except for one thing..Tempo ...i dont see any pace in this race at all ..Desert Flight could get a cheap lead here and skip away from them..Carl Spry is a fantastic jockey in front ..just look at Grab the Phone the other day..
i'll be on Admiral Spy and Desert Flight here because i cant seperate them..
Imperalism and Smart and Mighty both the dangers but they'd want some speed on aswell..
Race 7.
Speed on Speed here ..they'll be going like my stake last week ,,
Nessuno will just love this ..it will play right into his hoofs ..Words of Magic is just so classy..should get the same run as last time ..but theres no Bowman on board though ...Taylor isnt in the same class but with the speed up front he could slot in there somewhere maybe..
best to back both ..
Sir dan to place and Grandway back to a more suitable distance will give cheek..
Guessing they would of freshened Mastermind up alot for this....will run better
than the other day for sure..
Race 8.
Fastness.....speed on again here ..will suit him..he's been running on without any luck of late ..Patilo is in form and there doesnt seem much in this race..
Special Langfur at odds could place ..
Confident on a few today ..but i wont be taking anything to short ...
Good luck all :)

Race 5.
Besame Mucho ... loved her trial the other day ..she looks strong ..the claim brings her right into this...like her alot ..
Race 6.
Snitzel is horse i've been on forever,,cost me a stack in the slipper,,,he'll run well here first up..but the odds are ridiculous ..if he gets to 3.50 or more i'll take it..they might come for Mnemosyne and stratum...i think first up bradburys luck has a show here ..
Race 7.
what a race ..i have about 7 horses around the same ratings....i settled on Pekalan ..great run last start.,,the track the mile and the jockey suits ..and so does the price..like her alot..
thought Lorenzo at a million to 1 is worth an e/w as well..
good tri and 1st4 race this one..
give chances to the 2,4,6,7,9,11 as well ...lol ..hard race..
Race 8.
Really like Intermoo here..been good to me this horse..i think he can a few real good races this spring..he's had the freshen has a good weight and the opposition isnt crash hot,,,
Melbourne
Ruben ,,gutsy horse who will fight it out with Stratton place ..if they go to hard these 2 watch for Regent street flying home.
Super elegant ..i think has these covered ...if the price is above $3 its all overs ..if the track isnt to rain affected i'll have something on the old Bomber
Evil Master..good chance here..is fitter and with the claim should be prominent and win this..
Adelaide.
Perigule...liked the trial ..doesnt have to beat much here..
Ouraja ...only has to run somewhere near last weeks run to win this again..was very strong on the line..
Keytocache...Bowditcht the key here..good form around Aerated..
Pride Of archway ...forget last run...with this weight will be flying home ..
Nozi...great run last start...might be a nice e/w if you dont like the toppy.
Belmont.
Dakas Gem . Miss Copycat
GoldCoast
Blushing Dane
Echuca
Cathy Come Home
Newcastle
SeaForth
Have a heap of selections this week,,,the market will narrow it down for me though..
Good Luck all. :)

Race 1 - Why do we have to start with the distance race? It just ensures that i don't start with a winner...Having said that, i think that Art Success is close to a win, got to the line nicely last time. If they can hold Ears To Victory up in front then he has a chance....outside of them, i've got no interest.
Race 2 - I think Gang can win here. Made up good ground last time in the 3yo race and with an inside alley he won't be as far away and i think he can go close. If Cortigiana jumps and can lead, she can improve. I've never been a fan of Countess Bathory (don't know why...) and i can't see a reason to change here, i just think the alley is awkward and to my eye, the speed is dubious.
Race 3 - I shudder to think what Colin's Party will open tomorrow. There has always been a lot of hype surrounding this horse, and if its right, he should just about win this. If they let Aim So High stride out in front and don't try to hold him up, he can figure. Twanged, the sentimental pick, can go alright when he wants to.
Race 4 - Stirling. Fitter and from the 1 should nearly get the prize i think. Appeared to peak on his run 50 out first up, and wasn't beaten far last time (blanket finish a nightmare). Will get a beautfiul run throughout and the jockey is riding in great form. I think there'll be money for a lot of these, so you should get a price about what you like. Vitruvian won well last time, but the class rise is significant. Street Smart, riddden closer, is the query - if being closer in the run doesn't affect her sprint, she is a huge chance.
Race 5 - As always in these 0MW races, i'm going rough. Rafso. Has put in some good races in town before and with a huge amount of speed in the race, i think he can go OK at the big odds. Agree that Arrowsweep can go well too, not a bad run last time. Tropiqualo is not hopeless now that hes got a start.
Race 6 - Desert Flight, with no speed in the race, should get a decent time of it out in front. Hes a good tough horse and won't be far off them at the end. Smart and Mighty was a big win last time, steps up in grade here though, and the speed may not be a good as last time - good horses like him can overcome that though...:) Admiral Spy has really come along this prep and so can also figure.
Race 7 - Nessuno. Huge amounts of speed here will suit him down to the ground. Poetic Papal is in the same catagory - both will be flying home at the business end. Sir Dan, from the 1, can go alright on his day aswell - i can just never pick him on the right one.
Race 8 - Not a great one to finish on, but Stigma at the bottom is a chance at odds. Plenty of speed again here, and she'll get back and come home (hopefully). Cocktail Shaker was nearly a great result last time and might improve on that tomorrow. Gazzam can fly late with speed on too, don't know what happened last time, but i can forgive a bad one here and there.
Best tomorrow would probably be Gang, with Rafso a nice longshot.
Good luck everyone
Sven

Race 1: Not interested at all and to be honest it wouldn't surprise me at all to see Rue the Saint walk away with the race even with 60.5kgs on it's back.
Race 2: Countess Bathory is the obvious choice here but I thought there could be some value in the race between Eyes Forever, Cha Cha D'Amour, Amused & Gang. would probably find the best value out of those and go e/w on them.
Race 3: I like Twanged (again) and Dane Fantasy here I would doubt I will see any great odds about Twanged but Dane Fantasy could be one that skips in under the radar a little.
Race 4: Not interested at all.
Race 5: Specially Made was a real good run last start flying home however it has drawn the car park in this one to and hence will end up a mile back again I would imagine. I wouldn't be surprised to see Tudor Quest improve here could prove hard to beat with the draw.
Race 6: Smart and Mighty obviously a big chance here but after his last win doubt there will be to many that won't be on him I will be looking wide here. Step Ahead is driving me nuts didn't get the best of runs last start and if I can get similar odds again I might enetertain jumping on again, Desert Flight has to be given a chance aswell good draw this time and should get a decent run on the speed. if Lamond is ever going to win over a mile this could be it I doubt he can run a good mile though if they do go slowly it probably would suit him better. Imperialism is another obvious one but cannot be left out of discussions as a winner or multiples.
Race 7: I thought Cajun Steel might be a decent e/w bet in this one has been hitting the line hard and even though he is up quite a deal in class he looks as though he just might be able to handle it.
Race 8: good run by Fastness last start if he reproduces that he is a chance again also like Argyle Gem very good run last start and if it can settle a little closer then it just might be winning here.
Melbourne: I didn't mind Truly Wicked 1st up drawn to perfection certainly think it has the ability to win this race I actually think it's biggest danger might be Hollow Bullet shame to see Dilly Dally scratched don't tell me it is injured again.
Sydney: Suns Song I don't mind in the 1st race it is close to a win and got beaten by a good one last start if it can settle a little closer today then it can be winning just holding off Prima Nocte & Kosi Bay, in race 5 I like Banabolda e/w thought it might be able to lead or sit outside the leader here and prove very hard to run down in the straight, I really like Media looks a very strong hope with all the speed in this race they should be flying and if she has been wound up enough she just might fly over the top of them here I expect her to go pretty close anyway, race 7 is a very hard race Prime Century is in red hot form wouldn't surprise to see him put 3 in a row here the other one I like is Pekalan been a good horse to me and wouldn't be surprised to see her get home today.

Mav, don't know to much at all about Qld racing, but of recent i've seen two races where Hamah has been hitting the line very solidly, todays field looks the same as last start and he could be a good e/w chance at odds.
Cheers ED

Sydney:
Race 3: Break the Barrier might FINALLY get the win but i'm not sure....Evaporised is very consistent and Revive had a good win last start and with the claim drops down to 50 kgs
Race 4: Well everyone seems to be jumping on Gallieni today, and it is almost certain to be odds-on. Sportsman has a 50% s/r when resuming, and has won 4 times at randwick. beaten a nose in its trial and is a proven winner.
Race 5: Agree with Mav here, Besame Mucho is a great bet. Been beaten only once here, and another 50% s/r when resuming. Beaten by DH and presently in the trial and should win despite the 60 kgs
Race 6: Mnemosyne will not know herself with 52 kgs here. It really wants longer, but is such a classy horse of what i've seen it will adapt. I'm still not convinced by Snitzel. Stratum is out of it with the Barrier. Media will go close when the distance is up
Race 7: I like three here, PRime Century, Irongail and Our Hihglander. All have been very good lately but a very tricky race indeed
Caulfield:
I'm not betting much at all here today with the likely Heavy Track, but i like Shadowmaker in Race 5, Race 6 is anyone's race, and i'm tipping Miss Gaultier or Courtney's Cuddles to get home in the last

Well very good day today started out with a very small bank and got home very well. got a nice win to kick the day off for me in Twanged finally gave me some money back it owed me, had a bit of a go at Specially Made but the barrier proved as expected to be absolutely no help at all being no better than 3 wide all the way, I ended up on the Step Ahead wagon again and yet again disappointed was a good run but I just wonder if this horse actually has the guts to win a race, I had a big go at Cajun Steel to just miss out on the money must say I am confused how the horse ended up so far behind them coming by the 500 was spotting the next horse 4 lengths, atleast I managed to have a win on the race regardless getting the quinella but would have been great to get the win with Cajun Steel aswell that was it for me in the day in brisbane.
Sydney was good for me Media was massive couldn't believe the odds was expecting about $7 so the $9 was huge I then had a go at Prime Century but he just wasn't upto it. Didn't have alot of bets today but certainly turned out profitable for me anyway.

Raw,
I backed Media and Written Tycoon each-way yesterday on Sportsbet thinking that they were sure to come in today. Yesterday I got $8 and $9. Today, they were readily available at $9 and $11. Not complaining though. Good to get something right. Got a share of the trifecta and first4. I thought there were only 5 chances, 2-6-4-1-11.

Race 3: Well he got home but i only had a small bet on him
Race 4: I had a large bet on Sportsman e/w so i was in front here as well
Race 5: I though BM was pretty ordinary...had all the chances, and i don't think the jock could do much more than what he did.....
Race 6: Same as Sportz here, i got fixed on Media - didn't include Snitzel in the tri so i missed that
Race 7: Amazed by the price of Oour Highlander. Had bets on 1 & 7 too so not entirely great, but a profit
Caulfield:
Very ordinary day for me here - but i didn't bet much as i said before

I am just going to base all my bets entirely on mavericks brisbane selections. You are a gun mav.
I had a shocking day on saturday. Everything i had a go at came second. Missed like several quinellas by a nose or had 2 top selections in the race and roved one of them with my second line selections but you guessed in the other top selections came through. Then in the hurdle at adelaide i put on a roving banker exacta a few times (or what i thought was a roving banker) but by mistake put it on as a standout exacta and the rover came second with another selectionc oming first. so i went to collect - NOT DIVIDEND BEARING. Then sunday i just had the one bet and that was on cromla at the sunshine coast which was at foolish odds. Beaten by a nostril.
bahhhhhhh

Very happy with Brissie last week ,,missed the last one only where a longshot got up..happy with my speed maps and ratings and everything ...its great when it works out like that..but the two weeks before werent so good..only got a couple of wins that saved my bacon..
I think the inside info i get and those early mornings at the track pay huge divies .. .. plus a good knowledge of the tracks and trainers ..
nothing like playing on your home turf :)
